    Nah, if Sam is a bust he will get one more shot. I feel Tepper likes him too much to throw in the towel. He knows how incredibly hard it is to find a qb in the NFL. If anything the Fields pick will add way more weight around his neck than trading for Sam

    Yep. 100%. Thats why I still think a vet in the lockerroom helps Darnold out even indiscriminately vs PJ or WG. "Project" qbs just are not a thing anymore in the NFL. I mean were they ever? It sounds good in theory but it just doesnt work.

    I could see a team not letting will g clear waivers and having a look at him. PJ not so much. I think he would go straight to the PS and not pass go.
