  1. I am sure that their feelings were hurt. Apparently like yours are from time to time.
  2. Ahhh, there is a key word there that depending on if it was a word that Buzbee used that kind of lets us know what the end game is... ”suing” as in looking for cash settlements.
  3. @Verge how close was DW to being traded before this came out? A day? A week?
  4. I see that Buzbee is still talking. 22 women is such a high number and that alone gives me pause on any belief in the current story. I am more inclined to believe three or four, but twenty two? That is Tiger Woods territory there. The worst part is that from what has been said not one of them can actually prove it. That is crazy in of itself.
  5. I don’t think that anyone has an idea. I just do not like people saying that he is guilty when only one side of the story has been heard. Perhaps he never plays again, or perhaps he does, but at this point no one knows.
  6. I have a feeling that this doesn’t make it to court. I have a suspicion that these complaints may get settled outside of court for undisclosed amounts.
  7. I believe that the Panthers draft O-line and roll with Teddy B for one more year. I am not a fan of a Teddy but we do have him as a back up plan.
  8. With all things being equal, none of the teams can blink yet. Until there is clear direction, then no team can surrender whatever position they had prior to the report. If he is cleared of any criminal wrongdoing then which ever team hung in there the longest will come out ahead.
  9. Which would work to the benefit of the aforementioned teams. I would wager that each of them are waiting with baited breath and praying that criminal charges are never filed. Beside the optics of the whole situation this is an opportunity that they would not have expected. If one of these teams were to get him, then their biggest issue would be damage control in the way of public perception.
  10. That makes sense. I wouldn’t stop looking into a trade unless he is charged with a crime, or suspended for an extensive period of time.
  11. Here is the one report that I read and based my hypothesis on. https://www.si.com/nfl/2021/03/19/deshaun-Watson-sexual-misconduct-allegations-12-women Apparently, it was a team trainer and also his personal QB coach. That may count for two of the women. I based my hypothesis on these statements and just like those that have have belief of his guilt, I have no other evidence other than what has been said so far.
  12. Listen I know that you enjoy being the boards pariah, but I clarified my statement twice. Anything more that that is unknown. We still need evidence to show that the young man is guilty of a crime or not.
  13. Read what I said and then read my follow up.
  14. I simply hypothesized the addition of the ones that were not verified. I never said the number of women, but I did say that just some of the women. There still has not been evidence to counter that what I said is true or not true. We still don’t know if the trainer found the women and Deshaun is the one that reached out to them.
  15. Sorry about the bad wording.I should have said the couple of women that he knows and not the ‘few”.
  16. I will let you go search for it. I am hypothesizing the idea of him turning over knowledge of ALL of the women, or at least more than the few that he does know.
  17. They are not random... it has been said that the, “massages” were set up by his QB trainer/coach. That is the link between the women and DW. Reasoning this out it would not take a lot of analysis to realize how the lawyer was able to find these women. If he speaks to the trainer and gets a list of women, contacts the women and asks them if Watson behaved inappropriately, then that would be an easy way to develop a list of civil complaints. Also, a few of the complaints were not sexual in nature, but complaining that they were not compensated appropriately by Watson(I.e. shortchanged). Remember that these are civil and not criminal cases. There does not need to be a crime in order to submit a civil complaint. As an example, if a person is cutting down a tree in their yard and the tree drops on my property which damages my fence, then I could file a civil complaint that seeks restitution for the material cost of the fence, the labor to replace and even emotional distress.
  18. Why are you pretending that you know more than he does? The public has only heard one side of this complaint and anyone declaring that it is gospel has the possibility of being wrong just much as those that are saying that it is not true.
  19. That is what I am talking about. Less risk and high reward. If he never plays another down then you only lose two mid late round picks. That may be where the Texans are now. Unless of course they have no intention of releasing him...
  20. That is why I said that thankfully justice does not occur in the court of public opinion... Did you read that part?
