  1. Who knows if he'll actually be a good head coach but he definitely does his homework, none of that Rhule bs about being a tough hard nosed football team!
  2. Rookie C to Bryce yikes. Remember when they let him lead protection meetings in training camp without even sitting and learning from Dalton for any time at all? Corbett is rusty too, I'm surprised they didn't look into free agency but maybe they're just holding off til after the draft
  3. Dunno why he'd want to come to a rebuild but ok
  4. If CB Wiggins or DE Darius are there at 33 and they took Ladd I will give up lol. Ladd would be like Wr4 in that room year 1 and I doubt he'd be useful on special teams. I think he's like a 3-5th rounder in real world draft rooms
  5. I would much rather go Pearsall at 65 than Ladd in the 30's, and just do BPA with the first two picks. Ladd is pointless with ISM and Dionate on the roster who are already proven at the NFL level. ISM hasn't gotten his fair share of targets, yet he crushes it every time they give him a chance. Ladd could be a complete bust with all that dancing he does after the catch
  6. We lost Burns and Luvu and you think our front 7 will be better with one more move? lol. You must have been working too much to realize the roster changes!
  7. Congrats on your full schedule, I enjoy doing whatever the fug I want to do whenever I want to do it
  8. Apparently theres a handful of people on here totally content with going into training camp with only 2 qbs on the roster! Good luck with 180 pound Bryce and 36 year old Dalton taking all the snaps all training camp and preseason long and being healthy for the regular season
  9. I'd take him day 3 maybe but I don't think we even really need him w Diontae on the roster. If he wasn't on Georgia he could easily be just a CJ Saunders type dude at the next level. Cooper Kupp was putting up like 1700 yards a season in college and went 3rd round. Give me a guy that actually put up numbers, not a guy that had like half of what Mingo had his senior year which was still underwhelming
  10. Yeah I'm just curious to see what the moves/reactions are a month into the season. Hard to tell if it's an actual new staff doing things the right way or just some guys doing what Tepper wants, and it'll take a few games to see if Canales and Morgan have some real balls to try and do whatever is necessary to try and win games
  11. At least every article I've seen in the last couple weeks say he has no more excuses with the upgraded guards and trade for WR. Basically everyone is over it besides Tepper and like 5 people here on the huddle lol
  12. The vision is not really making sense at the moment. Canales wants to run the ball and dink and dunk to take the pressure of Bryce, but the defense is going to be giving up so many points he's gonna have to sling it. I'd rather that happen and see if he can do it so they can make a decision on whether he's the guy or not by mid season. Not expecting many wins with this current formula but at least they haven't made any dumb trades yet
  13. Who knows if Evero had him rated that high, I think Fitt just got nervous because edge guys were flying off the board, I personally wanted Byron Young who went to the Rams 3 picks before I think
  14. That would make the CMC trade even more brutal. Imagine if Bryce and DJ aren't even on the roster in a year lol. That's all we got with those draft picks from the trade
  15. Yeah, I think it's more of a formality since they traded up for him in the 3rd. But I agree the new coach said he has no emotional connection to any of the players and Evero doesn't strike me as the type that's going to play a guy just because he was drafted hire than a better player
  16. Canales is going to start with Bryces footwork, good luck..
  17. Edge- The starters: D.J. Wonnum, D.J. Johnson The backups: K’Lavon Chaisson, Eku Leota, Amare Barno, Luiji Vilain This group is rough. The Panthers traded away two-time Pro Bowl pass rusher Brian Burns at the start of free agency, and Yetur Gross-Matos exited shortly after that swap, leaving the position group looking as grim as it gets. The Panthers signed Wonnum and Chaisson to ease the pain, but the need at the position is still quite glaring. The Panthers hosted Jadeveon Clowney on a visit earlier this month, but he is taking his time during his annual stroll around the market. Signing Clowney would greatly improve the unit’s outlook. Johnson, last year’s third-round pick, had a forgettable rookie year. If he wasn’t a third-round pick, it’d be easy to put him in the category of players on the outside looking in for roster spots. That said, given his pedigree, he should get every chance to shine this offseason. Still, look for the Panthers to have a plan in the draft to upgrade over him in the lineup. Leota, Barno and Vilain were all here last year, but none of them have been particularly successful in the pass rush department.
