  1. Guy above basically blames Bryces footwork and throwing velocity for that not being a realistic throw. Which might be true but not in a positive light for Bryce as he was hoping to spin this. If Bryce had actually thrown at the combine we would know his velocity. CJ and AR were around 60mph which translates to 30 yards per second, which was plenty of time to hit Thielen. The ball didn't need to "teleport"
  2. 99.9 the fan broke it down in a holy crap way. We basically traded Jalen Carter(#9 pick), DJ Moore, potentially Caleb Williams/Marvin Harrison jr etc if we keep sucking, and like 2 second round picks for Bryce.
  3. Time to see what's going on with the Bears, and to see what we potentially missed out on Howell. I didn't want him on day 1 but I wouldn't have been mad if we had double dipped at qb that draft. Not that we had the staff to evaluate and coach them up
  4. I haven't gone through the whole thing yet but DJ is wide open on the first play of the video if Bryce just waits another tick and throws it up for him. Maybe told him to take the Thielen throw if he was open but we gotta take advantage of open looks downfield. Too much playing not to lose
  5. Yeah Chark would have walked in with that one. Safety didn't seem too concerned about the throw being attempted. Bryce had time to launch it too
  6. Time stamped for you. JT is actually even more critical of this than I thought he would be
  7. Especially on the play being debated in the other thread. He calls the no throw "sickening" and also that he would have been throwing a much bigger tantrum than Thielen does at the end, weeks after giving him poo for putting his hands up when he was open
  8. Hard to bat down balls when the qb is throwing them 10 yards deep. Among other physics related reasons
  9. 6-7 seconds is where Thielen was initially open. Either he couldn’t see it, didn’t trust his arm strength or was just shook. That’s NFL clean pocket and open receiver
  10. Actually it's not ok. Showing the same bad habits in the NFL
  11. Our eyes have not deceived us. No excuse for the RB usage
  12. Yeah the O-line and rb's aren't ready for all that either judging by the confusion constantly popping up on tape. I'd rather be running Corral 2nd half preseason plays that were simplified and had more tempo
  13. Aside from Steve saying relax at the beginning of the video he gets into Bryce checking out of plays way too many times and the Vikings baiting him into making those changes to get the looks they wanted. Combine that with Smith 2 weeks ago bashing the play calling in the Saints game and it seems like Bryce is overthinking or not ready to be making these adjustments. The 1st quarter scripted stuff looked ok vs the Vikings
