Our only selling point to Watson would be to extend his contract offering more money than any other team, and converting enough of this year into a signing bonus so we can sign the best LT available. Still doesn't solve the Rhule issue though, that's gotta sting for Tepper

Looking at the FA list, it was basically him and Norwell at that price, then Trai Turner, then Chris Reed and the like for probably $2M less. If someone gets Norwell for less yeah we over payed but that's the Rhule effect. I can't believe he even wanted to come here at all -

We probably had to overpay like 1-2M to convince him here, but they can do bonus stuff now and restructure stuff later if he's actually good
