  1. I only covet the SB trophy, which they haven't acquired in the last five years. Hopefully their fall from grace has begun, they've lost some important pieces.
  2. Putting the stadium on top of Carowinds is a fantasy that has no basis in reality and is just not going to happen. Not to mention, Carowinds is a mess because the property is in two states, with 2 state/county/local tax rates, labor and liquor laws. It severely hampers management. Tepper is never going to place a stadium there.
  3. Six division titles and 2 conference championships and eight playoff appearances...and never back to back winning seasons. tbh, I really don't care about that stat. I'd rather have SB's sprinkled in there than be what the aints have been the last 5 years.
  4. I agree. It does seem to be pretty common in the league to make the space before filling it, not always, but not uncommon. It doesn't seem prudent. Maybe they had a verbal with Jones and it took a month to work the contract. We still haven't signed all of rookies from the draft and those contacts are governed by the union player agreement. Maybe they do this because its best for the FA market. We rely on other teams to do the same thing for our acquisitions. It seems its best for the player to be released earlier rather than later to find a landing spot and get acclimated. Just thoughts, I really don't know.
  5. We're due. Probably not this year, but I think Tepper, Fit, and Rhule are going to bring home that trophy.
  6. I sure felt it was strange when it was announced. The more a looked into the situation, the more I was convinced that this could really work. I guess we are going to find out.
  7. I thought the same thing. So did pff (84.1 to Jones 67.7) and Kerr had 1 more sack than Jones with 4 sacks. Jones was a starter with 33 tackles and Kerr was rotational with 16. I assume Kerr had fewer snaps, but I don't know the diff. Kerr is a year older at 30 and Jones has been a starter a long time.
  8. Here's the full list. I don't think Allen is better than Rogers imo
  9. lol Its funny because it true. I call them Panthers North.
  10. link:5 strangest moves of the Carolina Panthers 2021 offseason so far (catcrave.com) Carolina Panthers let Efe Obada walk- career-high 5.5 sacks and signed cheap to the Bills Carolina Panthers signed Pat Elflein- Why? Why? Carolina Panthers signed Cam Erving -- Again, Why? Carolina Panthers haven’t tied down Taylor Moton yet Carolina Panthers released Tre Boston- Huh? 1st three I can see. We think we know why we haven't signed T-Mo now...he's going to be very pricey and there is non-completely-remote chance he moves to LT. I'd still feel better if we locked him up in a long term deal. The last one is a headscratcher. Tre Boston was just not very good, especially in coverage.
  11. Nope long before. Let me guess, you think it matters when someone became a fan.
  12. So because they might leave with a player, its cool to be mean to them while they're here? smh
  13. 30th just seems too low to me.
  14. PFF50: The 50 best players in the NFL right now | NFL News, Rankings and Statistics | PFF Last season was an injury bust, but McCaffrey is still arguably the most complete running back in the NFL today. He is an elite receiver, but he has also carried a full workload from the backfield, unlike other elite receiving options like Alvin Kamara or Austin Ekeler. McCaffrey has dropped just nine of the 388 targets sent his way in the NFL (2.7% of catchable targets) and averaged 2.6 yards after contact per carry. With an improved scheme and talent group around him, the Panthers' fanbase can rightly hope for a big bounce-back season from their star back.
  15. You realize people can read the Huddle without being logged in right? Also anyone can see old posts, even now. The gameday threads are still there. There's no a secret. I haven't been a member a month yet, I guess that's why I try to make other new huddlers a little more welcome.
  16. When the actual football start, the negative nancies will tone it down... at least at first... Something like, "go Sam! See I was a fan all along even though I derided the coach and QB and management the whole offseason." ....until we lose or there's a sack or interceptions then it will be: "see I told you so, I'm so smart". This place will be filled with those who want to cheer on their team.
  17. This from you, who follows anyone you disagree with around....looking for every opportunity to neg post or poo. You hold grudges for weeks, and now over a month. Not everyone who disagrees with you is oversensitive. @iamhubby1is right. You have issues.
  18. Why you got to be douches to someone who wants to cheer for the Panthers?..as if you are some superior form of fan because you were here longer or you didn't follow a QB. Why waste your time coming on Pather's fan site to rip on the QB and on people who support the QB? What kind of person does that?
  19. His PFF and film looks good... we need to keep him healthy, we're thin here.
