  1. I try not to post clickbait articles, but it's a slow news day: Carolina Panthers: 5 bold predictions for the 2021 season (catcrave.com) With no Julio Jones, the Carolina Panthers will sweep the Saints and Falcons in 2021. Sam Darnold will rise and to the occasion and make his long-awaited playoff debut Sam Darnold takes a step forward by becoming a game manager Robby Anderson will more than double his touchdown numbers from last season Jaycee Horn will not be the instant star Carolina Panthers’ fans are hoping for
  2. Panthers minicamp observations: Sam Darnold didn’t have a great day, and that’s OK (yahoo.com) Here's another summary article on our minicamp by the Charlotte Observer reporter. Pretty much the same stuff reported on the thread.
  3. This video is awesome. Thank you for sharing. It deserves its own thread. "I need that Tom Brady sack."
  4. Reddick, Perryman, Horn, Bouye, Jones are all upgrades. Fox and Nixon add depth. Jackson, Chinn, Burns and Brown have help.
  5. I really think this is going to be a breakout year for spiderman with the incoming help.
  6. Carolina Panthers: Don't sleep on Brian Burns for DPOY in 2021 (catcrave.com) "Having Haason Reddick on the opposite side of the line is a massive boost that cannot be overlooked. The free-agent signing from the Arizona Cardinals is coming off a 12.5-sack season in 2020 and if he proves this wasn’t a flash in the pan, Burns should get more space to work in." "Couple this with two space-eaters manning the interior in Derrick Brown and DaQuan Jones, and it’s not hard to see why Burns is fancied to enter a completely different stratosphere next season."
  7. If you're talking about Cam, it was flipped. It was his physical health, not mental health that people were concerned with.
  8. I was one who was hoping BC would play LT at some point season. Many disagreed with me. I'm really done guessing what they're doing here. I'm not sure that they know who LT is yet.
  9. Its not great that we only won 5 games. It is good sign that after losing Bradberry, Luke and co...we should have lost more and certainly shouldn't have been so close in so many games.
  10. With all the new help, he is going to be a monster this year. Yep. Brown was a great pick, he's going to do even better and he helps the rest of the D feast. It sure was. We still have a ways to go, but at least on paper, we look better.
  11. There appears to be a lot of love in the Huddle for the last years backup- backup-quarterback on the Saints. You guys should reach out to him, he could use the love right now. I don't disagree with Winston's talent, but he has some of the worst decision making I've ever seen. 35 turnovers in one year was like 7th worst in NFL history. He has a history of tantrums and fights. In the end, the Bucs couldn't get anything for him and just released him. His physical health wasn't in doubt, his mental health was. He signed for 1 yr 1mil last year. The NFL, Bruce Arians and Sean Peyton all show what they value Winston at. But you all know better. I'm done talking about someone who might/probably be the QB at the Saints this year. He's not my QB.
  12. So money mattered then, but not now, because its not fresh. Ok. smh
  13. Maybe on both counts. Why didn't Peyton start Winston over Hill ...what was it 5 games, last year?
  14. So, Winston>Hill but Peyton chose Hill cause they pay him more? Using that logic since Winston just signed a 1 year 12mill, and Hill has a 140 million over 4years...you think Winston is going to be the backup?
  15. Huh? If Winston is so awesome why did Winston play in only a few games last year? Did he ever even start or play a whole game last year? Why did the Saints start Taysom HIll weeks 11-14 over Winston? Are you saying that you can evaluate QB talent better than Peyton or Arians?
  16. So far a bust. The Saints chose to go with Hill over Winston last year. The guy can throw. His decision making on the bench, in the locker room, in the pocket is bad. Chris Simms Thinks Taysom Hill is a Better QB Than Jameis Winston (fanduel.com)
  17. Maybe. There was a time I'd agree with that. Now it seems they let a lot of holding on both O and D go. It has to be egregious and obvious...this was neither. Duration seems to be a key factor in the ref's calling it. If you call this one and you at least attempt to be consistent, there's going to be a lot of flags.
  18. I thought we'd be worse than the previous year. We were 5-11 in 2019, you thought we were going to improve last year and win more than the previous year?
  19. Maybe. We're discussing "decision making." on which I would argue Winston is worse. More examples of Winston's great "decision making": Fighting his team mates and bowling over his coach:
  20. No. No their not. Arians>>>>>Gase TB Oline, WR, D >>>>>Jets. 30ints>> everybody else in the league. Winston is going to a better team with a proven NFL SB coach, so he has that edge. I find it ridiculous that you compare the jets to tb and say Darnold and Winston were in similar situations. I did my homework and made my post about the situation on the jets. Do yours. What made the situation so bad for Winston?
  21. Teamwork. This type of stuff doesn't show in stats. The man is a beast.
  22. My thoughts as well, that Erving and Eiflin were relatively cheap depth pieces. I would assume Moton and BC switching sides is not going to get their best production.
  23. Apparently he's fighting an injury now. Not a good sign.
