Mimms in this team would be all world. he has speed, size and can go up the ladder for balls. They are doing the same thing to him as they did to SAM... because he doesn't run crisp routes and supposedly doesn't know all the WR positions.... yet his only play netted them 40 yards against who... you guys!

A couple of years ago the Jets played Dallas in NJ. They beat them because Sam played the way he did last night. he is very capable IF he gets adequate coaching which I think he is now finally getting. Do you all agree? BTW who is QB coach? IMHO, he is playing better then anytime with the Jets, i.e., moving around the pocket, awareness has improved (but still needs work), doesn't have happy feet (I mean a lot of the throws last night he had good mechanics [which is something he still needs to work on... but he is improving]). gents, this is a work in progress. he never got the coaching he has now (that is a fact) and I can see the difference in is confidence (which was pretty shot in NY) and that he believes again... that is significant. He will get better, you can see it, because the scheme fits him so well and the OC seem to know how to use his ability to throw on the run. I for one m glad he is doing well, he is a class act and a leader. Give him time to be coached up and you will not be disappointed!

Jet Fan here and believe Sam got screwed by the JETS. I recorded the NO game and thought Sam looked better then I have seen since his rookie days. The sheer fact that he "now" goes through his progressions (something he was and still is criticized for BTW), making the correct reads and throws, letting the game come to him, and finally doesn't have "happy feet " is a significant improvement over the SAM of the last two years. I can tell you your coaching staff and schemes are working. As another poster pointed out, SAM has wheels. Use it as a way to keep the D honest. he is faster a then you think... go back and watch the run vs. Denver.

SOJ from JN - Yep, agree on Sam comments. he needed a fresh start and he got it here. We'll see if he can become consistent in good decision making (up there he tried to to much), gets rid of the ball quicker and start to use his legs cause he can hurt you if lanes opne.
