The Falcons could have received up to $10 million in offsets from his agreement with the Raiders, will get just $1.3 million back after he agreed to a veteran minimum for 2026. Cousins will receive his fully guaranteed $10 million for playing in Las Vegas in 2026 ($1.3 million paid by LV, $8.7 million paid by the Falcons).
LOL.

Still need a safety but absolutely no problem with those first three at all.

Seems fine as a 4th round pick after we secure OT, ILB, S.

I keep saying it and no one agrees I guess, but a excellent pass catching running back would be a better place to spend those targets than a TE.
Jonathan Brooks is that player if he returns to form.

It is a historically deep wr class so i hope we don't pick one at 19. There is also no real consensus on who the best wr is. I've seen Tate, Lemon, and Tyson all at the top spot. I feel like TE goes pretty deep too although Sadiqu is the clear no. 1. Trade back and pick up your wr and te later.

Y'all are acting like Walker is a All-Pro on a 4 year deal. He's a rent-a-tackle on a one-year deal that got past over in FA until we snagged him. There are worse things than having a $4M back up left tackle if he gets beat out. Even if he doesn't get beat out by a hypothetical LT rookie, at least said rookie wouldn't get thrown to the wolves and can be eased into the League. Walker also has a injury history. Who says he stays healthy all season?
Agree. Tackle is a huge long term need and we put a bandaid on it for this year. Moton or Walker goes down and we are in trouble. I don't think we pass on Mauigoa, Fano, or Freeling at 19, but I bet none are there anyway, which would free us up to go safety, ILB, or defensive end. I think the WR/TE talk is hoping for a trade back. Remember, we b.s.'ed the draft w/ the no. 8 Tet pick last year.

To me, this statement means we better draft a DE in the first two rounds and trading back might make a lot of sense if we want one with our first pick. I would add Keldrick Faulk to that trio as I think he translates to a 3-4 DE.

arms measured 32” at his pro day
What is going on? That is the third player that had a longer arm length than the combine. That is either players gaming their proday or someone messed up at the combine.

I’ll be honest, I had no idea he was an ILB or projected to be one in the NFL. I always thought he was more of a 3-4 end. But him being an ILB next to Lloyd is super intriguing, I’m not gonna lie.
At 6'2" 238 pounds he is more of an ILB. I think Keldrick Faulk at 6'6" 276 pounds is more of the 3-4 end and the one I would take over Hill at 19.

Puka is in trouble for biting a woman and yelling racial slurs. Who could have expected that from the guy who guest starred on Adin Ross's stream and did the 'greedy Jew' celebration after a TD.
What an idiot. He was close to a really big pay day after JSN contract.

- Base Down 5-Technique DE: His best fit is lining up opposite the offensive tackle, using his long reach (34.5-inch arms) to control gaps and set a firm edge against the run.
- Sub-Package Interior Rusher (3-Tech): On passing downs, Faulk can shift inside, functioning as a "chess piece" to take advantage of mismatches against guards, similar to a defensive tackle.
- Hybrid Role: He can play in "under" or "tite" fronts, providing flexibility for defensive coordinators who run 3-4 schemes, such as the New England Patriots.
- I think Faulk would be a good pick at 19 for us if he drops. I think the guy from Ohio State is a nose isn't he?

I don’t understand the infatuation with Green. Robertson is a much better QB
Maybe day 1 better but Green has a lot more upside. I feel like the guys listed after Green have a low ceiling and are destined to be backups.

Sounds like an inconsistent deep ball and turn over prone. I would rather roll the dice Drew Allar or Taylen Green for the better upside. None of these three would challenge Bryce in year one.

I enjoyed this, from a Packers perspective.
I think people are getting out over their skis on the enthusiasm over what we actually will get. I mean, it was a great move that we needed to make, but I see people talking about no falloff, there are high expectations.
This guy isn’t sugar coating, but it isn’t necessarily all bad either. On the level of Walker’s play, he takes the view that it has fallen off, but has played very well before. I guess it epends on which one shows up, and I am hoping the old ‘change of scenery’ benefit could be in play.
He took a step back in '25, but his '24 numbers look really good. We still need a OT in the draft.

Fano's arms being longer than the measured at the combine is huge. No way he falls to 19 now. Probably second OT taken.

I am worried about the Vikings picking in front of us. They could take the best DL or the Oregon safety at 18. Those appear to be needs for them too.

I think Faulk or the Oregon Safety would be good picks at 19.

Isn't Kayden McDonald more of a NT? Walter Football lists the top 3-4 DE as Peter Woods (R1), Caleb Banks (R1-2), Keldric Faulk could also play OLB (R1-2), LT Overton (R2-3), Darrel Jackson (R2-3).
-
We won't know much about Icky's recovery until around January, and then he has a very slim chance of being 100%. I wonder why we only signed Walker for a year? Even if Icky someone gets back to NFL starter level in 2027, we still need another tackle on this roster.

Unless they’re telling tackles that Icky is out for the year
They don't have to; the players agent will do this. I think we are heading into the draft planning on taking a LT at 19 though. Good article on our cap situation: SI Article.

patiently waiting for the Taylor Decker signs a one year deal to Carolina news to drop and ease my concerns about next year
This will be interesting. If they go splash money (do we have the cap space?) on him in FA they will be covering for Bryce. If they do nothing in FA at LT, we know someone sitting above of us in the draft like Cleveland will probably pull the trigger and make it more likely that a good LT drops to 19.

Tony Pauline’s 2026 NFL Mock Draft 4.0
in Carolina Panthers
Posted · Edited by rebelrouser
Players drafted after 19 in his mock that I would take before the WR: Monroe Freeling OT, Ty Simpson QB, Dillon Thieneman S, CJ Allen ILB.
I don't mind that TE in round two but Caleb Lomu OT and Brandon Cisse CB would also be good value.
