  1. Where do folks keep getting the idea that Young's arm strength is suspect? He doesn't have the howitzer that Richardson and Levis have, but he had no problem throwing accurate deep balls after his shoulder sprain to start October. I've re-watched all of Young's and Stroud's games from the last two seasons and am about to do the same for Levis, and I just don't see reason for the questions that people are raising about Young's arm talent. Seems like just another knock on his size because "he's too small to throw it far."
  2. It's definitely weird watching what would basically be the Blaine Gabbert fans telling Cam Newton fans that they're less intelligent because their preferred prospect has flaws.
  3. It is kind of wild how the top 4 guys all shook out. Want the guy with the best tape? Young, but there's size concerns. Want the safe pick? Stroud, but there's concern with how he performs when pressured. Want that big time boom potential? Richardson, but he might bust. Want the prototypical build? Levis, but there's some questionable decision-making. All of them are flawed, so folks end up making their decision based on which of those traits they want the most and/or which of those flaws bother them the most.
  4. There's a conversation to be had at the very least if they offer both thirds though. #2 + #65 + #73? Would allow us to recoup the #61 that was traded AND get an extra pick to package with #39 to slide back up into the 1st? Get another starter w/ a bonus year option? I could be convinced...
  5. If the team is able to get Houston's #2 + #12 pick, you make that trade. Pair CJ Stroud w/ JSN or Anthony Richardson with another potential starter? I could live with that.

  7. A person's appearance very much can be an extension of their culture, experience, background, etc.
  8. I'd argue that trying to eliminate the reality that is our differing backgrounds, cultures, experiences, etc is a lot more harmful to society and proven by recent political ventures we've seen in America, but that's a convo for the Tinderbox.
  9. The pandemic has made it so that it feels like everything in the last 5 years has taken place within the last 2.
  10. Play-by-play for the Hornets iirc but I think he was released recently?
  11. Was genuinely surprised to see the resignation considering how he's moved up within the org during both regimes.
  12. Because there is a lack of representation in NFL leadership despite a majority of the league being black and the Panthers were just recently in the spotlight with this issue during the Wilks' saga.
  13. 2022 Alabama full games Week 1: Utah State Week 2: @Texas Week 3: Louisiana-Monroe Week 4: Vanderbilt Week 5: @Arkansas Bryce injures his shoulder during the scramble around 38min, comes back and tries to throw it on the next set of downs before having to go to the tent. 15. Michael Lombardi said he wasn't coachable. Wingo just said that there was stuff that was giving Carolina pause and then his co-host spoke for most of the clip.
  16. Not sure who Lombardi spoke with that said Stroud was hard to coach, but I just don't see it. I've watched every game of his this past season and there's been nothing on the field nor sidelines to show that he's hard to coach. I got the opposite impression, that he's easy to coach and work with. The next cpl of wks are going to be draining... but the draft will be here soon!!!
  17. Woo boy How quickly some of those hit dogs hollered after getting called out
  18. Excited for Bryce or CJ. I'd prefer Bryce because of how much better he handles pressure and how he processes the field.
  19. Were there any position groups that you believe will be especially deep when the #39 selection is on the clock? iirc you've mentioned the EDGE guys and CBs being deep this year?
  20. Have you gotten a chance to look at The Beast 2023 (Brugler's write-up)? Were there any prospects that you were surprised to see that he was high on that you aren't or that you're high on that he wasn't?
  21. Nick Hampton was popping up on stat sheets all year and Byron Young looked impressive at the combine. I'm a Clemson fan and have been high on KJ Henry all season. He was the definition of "do your job." With the move to a 3-4 I'm not so certain now, but I like him over YGM at least? Williams had a rough season it seemed, but man did Rush come on
