This Bryce Guy (General BY Discussion)
Panthering replied to Bear Hands's topic in Carolina Panthers
I cannot imagine watching Bryce all year in practice as a teammate, must be brutal watching the ducks he throws and how hard everything is with a qb his size. -
There is nothing natural about XL playing receiver. Nothing is smooth or easy with him and it’s a shame because I don’t think he’ll get any better

Would you trade Derrick Brown to get a top QB prospect?
Panthering replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Definitely not -
Who are the top QB prospects for the 2015 draft?
Panthering replied to Panthero's topic in 2015 NFL Draft
Been watching Sellers and even saw him in person vs Bama. He's so electric running, but he does not have it passing this season for whatever reason. I would be wary of him for now, but things could change after the firing of Mike Shula. He's just been inaccurate and missing guys, I think he's seeing ghosts after a ravaged o-line has done damage to his confidence. -
Jets did the easy decision that Scott effing Fitterer couldn't do, trade good player in a horrible season for two firsts.
-
We are being gifted with a QB making his second ever NFL start. We need to win this no if ands or buts about it.
-
He's been pretty bad I cannot lie, I've been watching the games. They just fired Mike Shula this week so lets see how the rest of the season goes. He can certainly be there mid first round after this season shakes out and he decides to declare. People are scarred from the Anthony Richardson experience even though I think they're different players.

It's pretty wild how much stripping Rozeboom of the green dot and giving it back to Trevin has helped them both. I truly was prepared to watch the worst LB room in the league after the first few games but they have improved since that happened.

I will not be participating in the hate today too good of a win. Didn’t lose it for us I guess!

Easily the best win of his young coaching career. Great job today! Pie pie pie.

Saints benched Rattler and keep indicating they want to go elsewhere with QB position, I'd trade for him for a shot of youth and some QB competition if he could be had for a good price. Rattler 2025 stats: 8 Games, 68% Completion, 1,586 Yards, 8 TDs, 5 INTs, 6.2 Y/A, 5.94 AY/A, 18 Sacks Young 2025 stats: 7 Games, 62% Completion, 1,288 Yards, 11 TDs, 5 INTs, 5.8 Y/A ,5.73 AY/A, 11 Sacks

He is just not a part of the future plans for this team, he doesn't fit the timeline whatsoever.

Is Canales digging his own grave?
Panthering replied to DaveThePanther2008's topic in Carolina Panthers
Canales is just inconsistent week to week sometimes, we see a lot of good and a lot of bad. I think that can just be chalked up to growing pains of a probably too young NFL Head Coach. I still like him, even with his faults, and he deserves to pick his own QB for some continuity with the team. -
We absolutely have to run the ball effectively against a defense that struggles to defend it in order to keep Josh off the field. Unfortunately they have Josh Allen & they are coming off of a bye and suddenly desperate for a win with the Pats cruising. I think Josh Allen goes bananas on us and reignites his MVP talk in this one, they win by two possessions. 31-17 is my guess.

2 rings, has iconic moments in massive spots in the playoffs, his last name, played in a big market. There's a good debate on whether he should be in or not but I think he should get in. Certainly over Rivers, Brees is a lock.

Anyone notice Jalen Coker yesterday?
Panthering replied to electro's horse's topic in Carolina Panthers
Were the rumors that Canales was unsatisfied with Coker's conditioning true? -
Bryce Young - High Ankle Sprain, out minimum 1 week
Panthering replied to UNCrules2187's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yikes. That will likely effect him for much of this season even when he does return and on top of that it is his right ankle where he needs to draw power from on his throws. Not great! -
Absolute do not trade a single thing for these bum QBs being spouted in this thread. Sam Howell?? My goodness!
-
He's everything you could ever ask for and more. He is one of the reasons I tune in on Sundays to watch, consistent playmaker, my buddy on the phone after the game was hyping him up. Just a DUDE.

Hey You, You Don't Know Quarterbacking
Panthering replied to fieryprophet's topic in Carolina Panthers
While you're correct, people are just sick of being told, "you don't understand this, you're dumb" despite what their eyes say. This applies to the Panthers and anything else in life. This board can be a miserable place, but this isn't the old days anymore because Social Media & Reddit have hijacked old-school forum users. I have in the last year or so taken a massive step back from Social Media & Reddit. Deleted accounts on both, I only have X/Twitter now. But I was looking for an outlet for Panthers talk and I did not want to do that on X much at all. There are only two legitimate outlets for that I've found, here and SB Nation. SB Nation I used to partake in, but they absolutely bumble-f*cked the comments section, and I like the setup of the posts + comments, as opposed to article + comments. Also, as others have pointed out, being a Panthers fan has been a horrendous existence since Cam left. Just an awful crew of coaches, draft picks, trading away great players, etc. It's been miserable. Ever since Tepper bought the team, I hoped that he commit to a full rebuild. He never did, he thought there were shortcuts and so did Rhule. This hamstrung us for years, and then he massively overstepped with the BY trade. This ruined the team building, because there was no depth, and then it ruined nuanced BY discussions because of the insane haul we gave up. He will never live up to that, I think many people are finally wrapping their heads around that now which is good. The best thing for this board to get better is for the Panthers to win more, draft well, and to stay committed to crawling through this Andy Dufrense poop-pipe to escape the depths of NFL hell. It will be ugly and stink along the way, but you can see already this year if we commit to drafting then the team and the vibes can turn around quicker than you think. I am extremely optimistic about the draft class this season, it's something to watch, talk about, and celebrate. It also gives Dan and I think by extension Dave Canales more of a leash, which I think we need to give them and grant them the time to turn this boat around. -
Those two are at the top of the Defense grades!!?

I wanted Skattebo so bad but there was zero reason for us to take him in the third. That’s just the truth. Would’ve been a ridiculous decision.
