Facts. During the Fox 7-9 years, we still had hope with great players on this team. A break here or there would mean a great year. The past 7 years under Tepper, minus the Wilks interm playoff failed push, we have had nothing to cheer for. No hope. Burns, Moore, CMC, Luvu, Darnold, Baker, Al traded or let go and piss poor drafting with those picks didn’t work out to replace them. I want to cheer. I miss those days. But that seems like a pipe dream now.

Being that I’ve been a day fan since 95 at Clemson and watched 90% of games. I would say yeah.

The panthers are considered a less than desirable place to play due to bad ownership and losing. Current players aren’t dumb when they see a team that isn’t that good. If you don’t have a true alpha leader like Jake, Cam, Luke, TD, or a hard ass coach like Wilks, Ron, or Fox to lead men, the players aren’t going to play hard. They want to get paid but won’t put their bodies on the line. Bryce is a beta. Canalas is a beta. Brown is soft spoken. Theilen or Horn may be closest thing to a leader we have but they aren’t the right positions on the team to be the leader. The team is soft as butter poo with paycheck boys running the show. We need a true alpha at QB, DE LB or Coach. Esp at coach. Canalas ain’t it. We don’t have it. So yeah, it’s an effort issue.

At this point would anyone really care if Tepper moved the team? Charlotte hates him. Interest in the panthers is at 99-02 levels bad and no one really cares minus kids and hardcore fans.

The team is clearly under the negative thumb of Tepper. The boys were 6-2 on the way to a magical run in 18 and then Tepper happened. That isn’t a coincidence. It’s been ass, minus when Steve wilks had this team galvanized and was cooking until Horn’s injury. Tepper could have made the smart move and kept him but went with Frank which is was the worst hire on gods green earth.
