Derrick Morgans first visit will be with the shitbirds (falcunts)

Please be real and please happen. Saints would officially be in rebuild mode

Don't need a 1000 yard receiver (though it would be great to find one on the cheap). They need someone to get 600-700 yards on about 40-50 catches, which represents a deeper threat to take the pressure off of the two 1000 yard receivers already on the roster.
That said, it would be great to find someone to grow alongside KB, and I'm sure the team will grab that person if the situation is right.
I'm moreso arguing that if we're going to pay him 4-8 million a year he should be able to hit around 1k a season otherwise we're overpaying
-
Meh. With all of the options on the table this offseason it'd be a real shame if we only came away with a player like this.
I think we come away with a few solid signings this year
-
Idk if Moore is going to be the answer to our receiver problems. Do you guys really view him as a 1k yard receiver? What would be the most you guys would offer him per year? No way I go over 4 mill on him.

At the end of the day I'll take G-Man's opinion of a player rather than listen to a bunch of sheep.

Im gunna go on record, un edited, saying this guy is gunna turn it around and be a beast for us. Im on the wagon DAY ONE
flame me. Call me a dumbass. But 90% of you guys dont give him a chance, im in the other 10%
Welcome to the team Oher
I'm definitely with you sometimes all it takes is for a player to be put in the right environment. I don't see the point in trashing the guy who else is out there that is better? Hopefully he and Remmers can hold down the position for another year while we groom a rookie.

Hardy
Hard time choosing between Cobb/Hardy. I'd have to go with Ol' Greg

Lmao, very very true. But they do always have ample cap space.
Because no one has ever wanted to play there. Now that they have a young qb to build around who knows.
-
Hardy can sign a contract during FA whether he's on exempt list or not.
-
Brandon Marshall signed a 3 year / $30,000,000 contract with the Chicago Bears, including a $7,500,000 signing bonus, $22,300,000 guaranteed, and an annual average salary of $10,000,000
Yea no way we trade for him with that contract
-
Man if we could get Marshall for a 4th or 5th that'd be the sh*t how much is he set to make on his remaining contract?

WHAT THE FUG!!!!!!
Oh this is an old thread

Lol you guys love putting words in people's mouths. Wow!!! Is the only one in here that was trying to argue that a 40 yard dash time is the end all be all when judging someones speed I never wanted Hartline to be the only receiver we brought in but if you guys are okay with guys like cotchery on the roster then Hartline is 10 times better than what he is because he actually has some speed and can get separation from DBs UNLIKE Cotchery. I would like for us to get a better receiver hopefully in the draft but that is not always possible so if we were to bring in a lower level free agent Hartline would most definitely be my pick i dont want him to be our number 2 wide receiver going into the season but if he was signed today he would be the 2nd best receiver on our roster and that isn't debatable.

Not shocked but that is pretty fuging stupid not to even make an attempt. Players of Greg's caliber don't just grow on trees.

Irony at its finest -
Miami paid 60 million for Mike Wallace.. That's my evidence. . Who pays 60 million and trade for a speed WR when you have one in Hartline right??
Ok...lol now this has me scratching my head. Whoever said Hartline was the same type of receiver Wallace is? Why do you think there are only two types of speed, fast and slow? A Wr doesn't have to run a 4.3 or 4.4 to be considered fast Hartline is not a burner but he has good enough speed and is faster than guys like Wes Welker or even his teammate Jarvis Landry. Idk how else to explain it to you. Now there's evidence he runs a 4.4 I only looked at his combine which was a 4.5. Think about it you are trying to judge a player based on looking at how fast he runs in a straight line instead of noticing he has over 2500 receiving yards in the last 3 seasons.
-
If he comes in for the vet minimum and we get rid of the other slow possession type WR which Hartline is.. Than I'm ok with signing him..
You can't have too many slow WR who don't play special teams on the roster. .
Hartline is not slow...lol you must have never watched him play he is so much faster than Cotchery it isn't even debatable
-
He doesn't have elite speed or size he doesn't offer special team abilities... He doesn't have many season of being a number 1 option wr.. All he is... Is a younger slightly better version of Cotchety or a jag player..
If we are cutting Cotchety and Bersin and only paying him league minimum and he is a 4th wr option than cool..
If he is brought in as a number 2 wr and we still have Cotch and Bersin .. Than we failed in the getting Cam weapons and speed theme of this off-season. .
Only way I'd bring in Hartline is if we get rid of Cotchery and Bersin.

PFF: Adding DT Melton alongside McCoy gives Bucs an "absolutely terrifying sub package pass rush from the inside"
in Carolina Panthers

Maybe it's just the homer in me but I'd rather have Star/KK than Geraldine and Melton
