The dumbass part I most definitely agree with. In my opinion it sounds like Holder is the one that was lieing the entire time. Let's remember Hardy is the one who called the cops. If you assaulted someone are you going to call the police or would the person being assaulted call them? I truly believe if Hardy did do anything to her it was miniscule.

Is that not essentially what happened? They knew they didn't have anything against Hardy so they did not have to render any kind of verdict because the case was dropped. He was not charged with a single crime.

The charges were dropped because the accuser and state's main witness was allegedly paid off to not testify against him.

From what I read it sure did sound like he was acquitted. Yes it said Hardy and Holder settled out of court but it also said they would have dropped the charges regardless if Holder showed up or not.

I don't think he gets suspended next season not with the way they dismissed the case. If they dismissed the case because Hardy paid off holder then I could see the league still suspending him, but because they decided to acquit all charges against hardy due to lack of evidence/the situation was way overblown than what it should have been because he's a high profile athlete (my opinion) I don't think Goodell suspends him even though Goodell is a shitty ass commissioner

See I don't think this is going to be good enough. Mario is a good situational pass rusher but he can't play the run all that well at all. I personally also think Ealy is going to need another year of grooming before we can expect him to be a solid contributor/starter. Adding another rookie to the mix imo again will just be another situational player. Maybe we can bring someone in from FA? Idk our dline definitely takes a few steps back without Hardy we gotta figure something out.

That is true but don't forget to look at the level of competition we faced. I think the biggest issue I have with this is what Tantric Ninja said nothing is stopping him from signing with Atlanta and get revenge on the team that gave up on him. Our defense relies a lot on the front 4 to get pressure now that we know Hardys gone for good we desperately need to find someone to fill those shoes

It's all but official now. I think this is a huge mistake Hardy was a huge part of what made our defense work. I got so much joy watching our front 4 dismantle the pocket. Hopefully we can find someone close to Hardys level.
