Varies of course year to year but 2023 playoffs Panthers barely squeaked in as a wildcard with 92 points, lowest of all the teams making it in. Most teams had 95 or more with a lot in the 100s. I wouldn’t count us in unless we get on track for mid to high 90s.

SOG 16 for both teams. Preds essentially tied Canes on SOG as well, we aren’t seeing our usual SOG lead. Lots of shot attempts from the blue line hitting bodies.

Yes I’m aware, but I’ve also seen that a ton of those shots against the Canes have been grade A’s, so there’s that.

Kootchie certainly looking good. The poor GA I attribute half to goalie play and half to bad defensive play.

Hopefully Raanta can get back to the form he had for us last year in the AHL. Doubt he’ll ever be a Cane again but maybe another team i’d he claws his way back. He had a good season with us last year. Although age may be a factor.

Definitely need a trade to pick up a decent goalie. Also father time has come to call on two of our beloved players. We need some youth.
