I don't know that it really even matters much.  He can make every throw.  He just needs to anticipate throws more.   It's an NFL caliber arm even if it's on the lower end of the spectrum.

Josh Allen can wait and squeeze an 10 yard out in extremely tight window and late.    Bryce can make the same throw but has to throw before the separation occurs.

I dont think this is the problem. I think he threw with a lot of anticipation this year, especially early in the season. Problem was our WR's ran the route wrong or simply were not open.

By the end of the year he was playing reactive... which is not what he is known for.

Tepper could learn a lot from Mrs. Ford-Hamp, she’s done more for that franchise in 3 years then her predecessors have in 50.

Examples like her or Steve Bisciotti are what you’d look for in an owner

    vision

    resolve

     hiring the right people

     providing resources

then stepping aside and letting the people you hired do their job, not send in plays you’d like to see on a fortune cookie slip or having your wife watch the O-line drills or having the coaches meet with you on Mondays to review what happened

Listen to what she says and more importantly what she doesn’t say, buzz words like ‘analytics’

Yes Brad Holmes and Dan Campbell are amazing but the Lions and Ravens are where they are because of leaders like Mrs. Hamp and Steve Bisciotti

I used to appreciate your posts.. now your just miserable all the time.

Let’s have some fun since it’s the Panthers offseason. He already promoted Dan Morgan to the GM spot, who had a large part in the worst 3 season stretch in team history. Was it because none of the external candidates they interviewed actually wanted the job? Who knows. The optics of promoting Dan Morgan suck.

So how can he make it worse? Because I think it’s going to get worse. David “Murphy’s Football” Tepper seems to just figure out the worst decision he can make and double down on it.

Hiring Mike Vrabel seems like a possibility. I’m not a fan of hiring another retread coach and Vrabel seems better suited for a team with a more playoff ready roster. The Panthers are going to be a long term rebuild and need a cohesive staff to be there for the long term.

Or will he hire Dave Canales, who was a position coach only a year ago? His connection to Dan Morgan certainly nudges us to believe he will be the hire. Is he too inexperienced?

Or will they throw Tepper’s entire bank about at Ben Johnson who I’m not sure has any desire to coach the Panthers?

Lets wait and see how much darker it can get!

    Why are you like this?

Yeeeeeah...that's a "believe it when I see it" thing.

It's possible, but right now he's so bad we're prescreening our interview requests out of fear people will run away.

I know it a bad look.. but a worse look is not doing that and being turned down.

Good points but I'm also not saying they were no brainers, only that they were not WTF is going on type moves.

Mortgaging the future was the next logical step after trying for 4 years to find a remotely decent QB.  I certainly was on board to take that risk vs another 4 years of Teddy B., Sam Darnold or Baker type swings at QB every year.

All I'm saying is Tepper isn't special or much different than other owners in the grand scheme.  The biggest difference is in our favor which is how much money will he spend to find a winner.

I dont know who you are but you seem to have the best memory of events of what actually happened at the time than anyone on the board here. Its refreshing.

I agree with you on all points your making.
