I think Sanders actually bounces back in this offense. 850 rush, 400 yard rec type of year. But agree gone after this season
seems lofty for him right now but i'd be happy to see it

What he said is still valid. First INT and the majority of Panther fans will be screaming for Cam
just making sure we're on the same page here.
I think it's valid too, I'm saying it's not even a matter of how long, bc they've been doing it relentlessly for the past 4 years. lol
If Bryce/this team doesn't show progress those first 2-3 games it will get ugly in here and fast. -

Can you imagine how long it would take the fans to boo Bryce off the field if Cam was sitting on the bench? Lol
yesterday for 5000.

I'd watched the game a few weeks ago. It's crazy to see some of the details I missed being younger on a live broadcast. Towards the end, the pressure that Rams defense was getting on Jake was sickening.
Amazing that we pulled that out and went on to the Super Bowl. Crazy to think how few of those chances we've had since, but I have hope!-

Well I'm surprised nobody is mentioning the fact that Canales may be able to get the best out of him. Hopefully Bryce will have progressed next year and Mitch can be a solid backup.

If there is a glimmer of hope its that York was once considered a meddling owner who was despised by his fans.
He's also in some heat for insider trading right now.
Exactly this point. As I watched this I kind of laughed to myself thinking "When the 49ers have bad seasons those same owners are being called to sell the team, not genius world-class owners."
This is the sports world we live in. lol -

Bryce is a dawg if you ask me.
Sometimes I wish that he would've went away from what the coaches were asking him to do (like chuck it up there on 3rd and long instead of screens.)
With that said, Bryce absolutely has it in him, he's a pretty polite one. But the way he mentally stayed even keel, and took hits each week. He's earned that if nothing else.-

Never understood the point of blowing up a perennial playoff team.
People are short sighted.

And Baker throws a GW TD today just to add some irrelevant salt lol

At this point I'm over the debate. Either pay him what he wants or trade him. He's not going to take less and if we're not willing to pay his asking price then we can't afford to let him walk without getting something in return.
It bothers me so much that the staff knew if they turned down the Rams picks they viewed Burns as a centerpiece. Yet they don't want to pay him that way, and now we're going to get much less than those picks smh.

because it became painfully evident to this group they don't have the folks around Young they need. nor probably the scheme.
Young still matters. And Young needs a legit RB of the Cohen mold in the arsenal. Whether Cohen still is Cohen is the unknown.
Think it took a couple weeks of real football for our braintrust to actually realize things they should of this offseason.
If he's ready or near ready to go I'm all for it! But if he'll just be resting on the practice squad when needed he can go somewhere else lol (idk if he does scout team or anything which I know is very important)
But I agree we need to figure out a lot of positions...so many I literally just got annoyed trying to think of which holes to mention first and how we'll do it. -

Because there was a time when he was pretty good, and there's a chance he could be again.
Especially considering that it was just to the practice squad, why not?
I agree with that, and I guess if the plan is to hold him there bc he's 80% done getting his body ready cool. But if you sign a guy, and when he's needed he can't be called on I don't see the point. His ceiling based on history (I could be wrong) is just above average. So with that, why not just go sign another HEALTHY just above average guy lol.

his last actual NFL rep was over 3 years ago.
I would assume it takes legit time to get your body for the every down car wreck that is a NFL snap. And it's why I would pump the breaks on Corbett being a game changer for us this week.
While I agree...in that case, why sign him?

I feel like I've been vouching for you in all of these threads with zero background...but man, seeing this in action it's definitely worth it. This is a great thread.
I'm just excited to really see Bryce develop, I just truly want to have faith in him. I hope that he will become a Hall of Fame QB, and bring Charlotte a few rings...that would be the dream man. -
I don't know the original context, and don't follow the OP enough to know his 'trolling' habits or lack thereof.
But it's just crazy to me that if people don't want a positive only thread, they won't just click around this one. It's literally one thread lol.
I would say I think it's a good idea bc we're 0-6. But even if we were 5-1, I like the idea that there is at least ONE corner of the Huddle where you would be able to go and just see good uplifting things about the team.
No it's not 'even football discussion' but there are literally over 50 pages where you can do that, or even just vent on Twitter, or to your dog.
Let people have one nice thing, even if hypothetically it originates from some trolling a*hole. -
He can have some ownership stake in this team for all I gaf.
