  1. I don't follow much college ball (probably why I didn't know about Reich); but I saw maybe a month or so ago he was all in the headlines and being talked about for a big extension. Made him sound like he could be the Mayor of Nebraska if he wanted
  2. If I had to fail somewhere...man would making a many millions to leave and never be heard from again make it feel better lol.
  3. Haha I'd just hit a quick Google and saw; speaking of guys becoming college coaches, I admit it pains me to see Rhule get so much praise in his current role at Nebraska
  4. lol where is Frank Reich these days anyway. Kind of surprised he never had some big tell all podcast moment about his time here.
  5. He deserves a game for that stupid crap smh.
  6. And even if he is the next Darnold or Mayfield. What people have to understand is Darnold or Mayfield were absolutely not going to become those versions of themselves here. While I'm sure a lot of that was on the leadership a lot of that was self-inflicted by them as well. Sometimes people need a fresh start, a different system, and some motivation.
  7. I was literally thinking on that little 2 yard scramble "Man, I miss Cam."
  8. Does anyone think we even make an actual attempt at points before half? Or just play it safe with 5 yard passes and a run on 3rd :/
  9. I could only imagine Bryce would have the slimmest sliver of a vision cone if this was Madden 06
  10. The thing I hate about this offense the most is that I just never know what the f*** I'm going to get from week to week. I'd rather us go out swinging and have Bryce attempting deep balls even if he makes mistakes than 'Captain Check Down' as they call him.
  11. #4 struggling with easy drops was not something I saw happening coming into the season sigh.
  12. But see, that's the difference between Pep and Steve, not to say Pep wouldn't win in a street fight. Even listening to this interview in current day. Steve seems ready to take on, anybody, anywhere, at any time. Where Pep seemed like a gentle giant. The guys in that room were all solid hard nose defensive players, and basically almost cowered to Steve in that interview (no judgement there, who wants to fight when you're rich and mid 40s). He's just got some dark things that the typical man doesn't have inside and he talks about it a bit. But as someone said before...that's what made him 89 on that field.
  13. THAT GAME TOOK ME THROUGH SO MANY HIGHS AND LOWS! BUT NOW I'M ON A WEEK LONG HIGH!!!
  14. You may be thinking of the old rule; now since both teams get a possession it benefits you to kick. That way you know what you need based on what the other team does first with their possession.
  15. Why is Drake London Pro-Bowl talent WR wide open on almost every play...
  16. To be fair they just traveled back from Berlin, not sure how accurate these reports have to be to give rest.
  17. I'm not saying I'm superstitious but hypothetically.... I would not want to start up the podcast after we just beat one of the best teams in the NFC and have started gaining momentum.
  18. Eh, hate to say it but I disagree here. A'Shawn trying telling him we can fight after the game shows where his head was at, and it wasn't in football. And if Ekwonu can get any tips from Dawkins who is a 4x Pro Bowler I'm all for it. Oh well, we live to fight another week. Would love if we're the ones frustrating the Packers with a blowout this time.
  19. I truly hate to say it, but I agree. Dowdle is not signing back her next year, especially after how Canales and Co. have handled his hot hand. I don't believe we're going very far this year...so it's not a decision I want us to make but thinking ahead for the future, if we could get something for him it might be better for the future of the team. Unless there is another option where we restructure/trade Chuba which I'm guessing is unlikely. I want to emphasize, I'm a huge fan of his this season. But as an organization you have to look beyond that. (Also keep in mind we have 2nd round pick J. Brooks waiting in the wings, whatever that means to you.)
  20. Ride the hot hand. The hot hand is Rico. I don't get what's so hard about that to Canales, but that's why I'm just a fan.
  21. I had this exact conversation with my father earlier in the week. Canales had the easiest way out by just saying 'he'll be on a pitch count', and just see how things unfold. Instead we got this lopsided mess where Rico clearly has the hot hand for the year so far.
  22. I was thinking the same; how are you supposed to be an 'AJ Brown mold' and go down so easily by a one arm tackle lol
  23. The deep sigh I just took could've been heard in Kentucky.
