  1. Vikings gonna get they asses kicked. Their offense is basically just AP. Bridgerwater has 17 total TDs in 16 games. (14 passing 3 rushing). I don't think the young man has a good enough arm for the NFL. The only chance the Vikings have is.................the shade. Maybe that slight shade the Seahawks will be forced to briefly sit/stand in on the sideline, will just scare the Seahawks.
  2. I'm still iffy about that game. Burfict should have been called, I'm not going to argue intent, I did enough of that last night. But regardless of the intent, a blow like that to the head will get flagged every time. The Gio hit is what got me. How was that not a flag? Gio was a receiver, almost every receiver that has his head nearly taken off on a helmet to helmet hit, is gonna draw a flag. To me, this wouldn't have been too bad if just a quarter earlier, the refs did not jump the gun and toss a flag out against the Bengals, because a Bengals player hit a Steelers receiver shoulder to shoulder, and the shoulder pad inadvertently slid up to graze the helmet of the Steelers player. The flag helped the Steelers score. I also still do not know what a catch is. The Steelers' TD catch was athletic as hell, but I've seen some refs rule would-be TDs like that as incomplete, because the receiver didn't control the ball as he was moving out of bounds. Basically, if the refs saw the ball bobbing around as the receiver went OOB, it didn't matter if the receiver followed up and finally secured it, it would still be ruled incomplete.
  3. You mistake people saying that he lowered his body, with "He was just trying to sell it". Brown is very much injured and the hit looked nasty. When he bent over and lowered his head a moment before he was knocked out, I'm sure he didn't even see Burfict coming at him. Was a case of wrong place, wrong time. After Brown bent down, there was no way for him to adjust before the hit, the same as when Burfict was running at Brown full speed, leading with his shoulder, there was no way for him to adjust a split second after Brown leaned down.
  4. Gio was a receiver that play. ...defenseless. He made a quick turn and looked up field. BAM.. Steeler came launching helmet to helmet. Earlier in the game, Bengals player hit a Steelers receiver, after the Steelers receiver had just turned around and started looking down the field... even though he did drop the ball, bam............15 yard penalty, defenseless receiver. The Bengal was leading with his shoulder. and didn't launch. Brown, was incidental , no matter how bad it looked. Some on here are claiming it was the exact same as what happened to Norman.. it's not even close. I don't really hate the Steelers that much.. some people can't overlook their hate for Burfict though. It's a shame that the hit that will probably get him suspended for a long time, is a hit where he probably meant for it to be a clean hit, leading with his shoulder, aiming at the chest...before Brown leaned down in the very last second. When he gets suspended for a long time, it should be for the poo he does that is blatantly dirty.
  5. The Burfict play happened fast. Looked to me like he was aiming his shoulder at Brown's chest, from his angle wasn't sure if Brown had the ball or not. Last second, Brown bent over.and lowered his head. Looked more like an accidental hit to Brown's helmet. Which, as I said, should definitely be flagged all the same..I just don't think it was head hunting. I mean, that announcer was trying to imply that Burfict's sack on Big Ben was dirty also and head hunting. When it was a legal football sack. Gio gets knocked out by a Steeler launching himself in a helmet to helmet............. all we heard was "Yeah, yeah, that is just a good legal hit, Gio made a football move".
  6. It was clear that the Burfict hit wasn't intentionally aimed at the head, He led with the shoulder and at the very last second, Brown lowered his head and bent over, so the shoulder of Burfict made contact with the head of Brown. Should've been flagged, but I don't believe he was head hunting, on this play anyway. The announcers piss me off though, dude only brought up the Bengals chippy play... He whitewashed everything the Steelers did.
  7. oh poo, they getting close to the FG range.
  8. All coming down to the Bengals defense.
  9. Damn. I would've just victory formation every down, make em waste their timeouts, and then just punt it. Give them about 30 seconds to march into FG range, without any timeouts left.
  10. Moral is......................... don't fug with Gio. ?
  11. Bengals need to calm the fug down, and don't help them down the field with flag after flag.
  12. 1min 50s left. Coming down to special teams and defense now. Bengals offense actually, against what I thought earlier, did enough to win this game.
  13. OMG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!! AJ TO AJ!!! Bengals up!
  14. Don't turn it over, don't turn it over, don't turn it over.
  15. C'mon Bengals! FINISH IT! 24 yards to go!
  16. 48 yards to win the game, for the Bengals.
