He's way better than that but I do think he's largely a product of the system and surrounding weapons. Put him in Carolina and he looks like Bryce Young.

Well, that was anticlimactic. Tale of two halves. 21-0 at half. Dolphins driving to tie at the end of regulation and the game ends on a botched snap on 4th down.

Find it in the stats. Last year's 12.5 sacks kinda looks like an anomaly when his QB hits has remained static. Honestly, he's been the same guy. The defensive scheme shift that was supposed to allow him to shine has produced the same guy. He is what he is. He's a one trick pony and he's only borderline elite at that one trick.

Wow. I honestly didn't realize it was that bad. That's what I was telling a buddy earlier this morning. Like I get it. He has a ton of talent and a highlight reel second to none. But the Pac-12 just does not play defense. He rarely faces a real defense.

What is he significantly better at? He made a jump from a nonexistent run defender as a rookie to a bad run defender in his second year and has been the same guy ever since.

Listen, I'm a UNC fan so I fully comprehend the frustration of scoring a lot of points and watching your D somehow manage to surrender even more, but damnit Caleb Williams you cannot go crawling into the stands to literally go crying to momma. Good grief, man.

The Dolphins' propensity to get whooped is pretty alarming. They win a lot but when they lose they LOSE. They just get their asses whooped.

Okay, KC is just straight stunting on Miami now. Laterals on a fumble return for a TD. The Dolphins just didn't show up and they're getting straight dragged.

Kinda sucks such a great matchup ends up being played by jet lagged teams. This might be the regular season matchup of the year but the situation is far from ideal.

He probably going to play a long time. A lot of career backups do.

Purdy is getting figured out and I don't think he has the talent to adapt to it. He's probably gone as far as his talent can carry him. He's Minshew in a better situation. Probably just a low level starter/high level backup. He's going to have a long career and bank a lot of money but I don't think he's ever going to carry a team far in the postseason.

Brock Purdy isn't getting them to a Super Bowl. He's maxed out and the more he plays the more average he looks. It would be all about low risk, high reward if you could get a talent like Fields for less than a 1st round pick.

We're 23-50 with Burns. We're currently 31st in the league in average points per game allowed and have never finished in the top half of the league in average points allowed during Burns' career. Obviously a huge difference maker. -
UCLA did absolutely nothing on offense all half then goes 80 yards for a TD with under two minutes on the clock.

Very possible. UCLA seems winnable but I'd expect Oregon to beat them probably 7 or 8 times out of 10.

USC turns it over on downs. The folks that bet Washington hold on. Williams missed a pretty easy throw but it doesn't matter. The game was already over.

The only thing that matters now is the line. I think it was 3.5, so a USC TD and XP could ruin that for some folks.
