Don't get me wrong, I enjoy watching offensive football but the Pac-12 is just zero defense.

I don't have the conviction about Drake that I had about Sam. I think he's a really good prospect, don't get me wrong. I just don't see anything particularly super special about this year's class. It's a good QB class but I don't see generational prospects. I see typical top of the draft style prospects. All the guys drafted high are good prospects. That's just how it works.

Bama takes control going up two TDs early in the 4th.

USC basically just ran a prevent defense on 3rd and 10. A checkdown goes for an easy 1st. They really are terribly coached on the defensive side of the football.

I don't know how people just watch highlights and convince themselves that Williams is this generational prospect.

Crazy how he fell off. A couple years ago he was getting talked up as a future #1 overall pick. I don't know if he'll get started at all.

It's not elite. Good pass rusher, non-existent against the run. Paying him elite edge rusher money will be a mistake. -
21 all Bama/LSU at half. Last couple of minutes of the half looked like a Pac-12 game.

We absolutely should've traded him. But Fitts couldn't afford to after turning down two 1sts from the Rams. He would've gotten absolutely dragged in the media of he ended up trading him for considerably less.

Oh my goodness. The Bama QB just absolutely airmailed a wide ass open receiver for what would've been a walk in TD.

Just looked at the USC/Washington boxscore assuming both QBs were lighting it up with it being 21-21, but nope. Nobody on that game can stop the run. Both teams averaging 10 yards a carry.

Probably so. I think we hesitated to keep him at LB because other undersized LBs like Deone Bucannon and Deion Jones didn't last but they were really good until the injuries piled up. Plus, Chinn is bigger than those guys anyway and could bulk up more. He was 7 pounds lighter than Shaq was at the Combine. I don't get why we act like he's 200 pounds or something.

That's fine. Just get DJ Johnson more snaps. Figure out if we have something to work with there or not. Justin Houston was signed because these guys thought they were gonna win the division and try to make a run in the playoffs. No, really. That's what they thought.
