That was his offer. It wouldn't cost that much if he does become available.
Packers fans were saying that would take our two 2nd round picks for him.
I would not give them anything for him. I would ask for picks to take him.

Colin is out of his mind if he thinks the Panthers should give up that much for Rodgers. If that's what the cost will be let the prick go to the Jets.

You're gonna have to sign Derek Carr and draft him at #9. Hell, I don't think it's out of the question he goes before #9. He was already considered a potential 1st round pick and then he went out there and performed like a literal superhero at the Combine. He's going high.
Yeah, after trading up for Young we will have to settle for whoever falls to the 3rd round.

Who do they have that they would have used it on anyway? This comes as no surprise.

We've got to find a way to draft Nolan Smith.

I listened to the TCU kid... said he looked up to Devante Adams... sounded pretty calm and humble. Seemed like he'd be a good teammate.
I caught bits of snippets from each and Addison I think it was said one of the guys he tried to model his game after was Steve Smith.

Anyone catch any of the WR interviews? Looking forward to their workouts to see more of Addison.

There's some good DB's in this class. I we can find a good one later in the draft.

Bucky Brooks mock draft from Jan 23 has Richardson as QB4 and still going in the first. Hooker didn’t make the cut. Not sure about Jeremiah.
Well I'm not sure what is going on as the listening that they are showing across the bottom of the screen for top 5 qbs doesn't have AR in it.

Giants talking to Carr yet?
I was curious to see if that happens myself.

Bucky Brooks and Daniel Jeremiah didn't have him rated higher than Hooker initially. I'm waiting to see if they've change that after the combine. I'm also curious to see what order they come off the board.

The hype is absolutely not only coming from ESPN. It’s been NFL Network as well. And beat reporters. It’s been most places that follow the draft.
They only thing if heard on there is speculation on whether he may have improved his draft stock in the combine to move up into the top 10.

I don't get the hype for Richardson from the media & some posters here. He is basically one football year past high school, like Trubisky or Haskins before him but with much less production to show for it, IMO. I hope I'm wrong but I just don't see Saturdays performance translating into Sundays. As a general guideline I would never draft a one year college starter in any position in the first round & barely in the second, IMO. I know that there are exceptions to every draft guideline put forward by every talking head or poster here but this is one of mine. Thankfully my tenure as chief football observer & broom operator in my house is not in any jeopardy [my TV, my remote] if I am wrong or right.
That hype is only on ESPN.

I don't watch NFL Network. ESPN is superior...
Seriously though, if they are paying more, that's not necessarily indicative of a well-run team, even if they aren't cheap. You gotta be smart. They gambled, now they're going to pay one way or another. Plus, it sounds like DeCosta is kinda making excuses for not drafting well enough, while Bateman is saying that players aren't being put in the best position to succeed. So there is a disconnect between the staff and players somewhere.
Yeah I do not follow the Ravens or watch ESPN. They were talking about the impass between Lamar and the Ravens and seem to think it is aboutmore guaranteed money more than anything else. Said the main sticking point for the Ravens is the amount he wants with injury concerns they have.

We're gonna have to trade up to 1 for AR.
It's ESPN. I wouldn't put much stock in their projections.
-
From what was said on the nfl network a few days ago the Ravens are paying more guaranteed money to their players than any team in the league. That doesn't scream cheap to me.

I've been having trouble with the app lately. It's been slow to load attachments embedded in posts on my android. It's also slow to react to to clicking on the quote button and even jumps to the top of the page.

I don't see us drafting a QB if we stay at 9.
I get the impression that they will trade down if they cannot move up for their 1st choice. My initial guess is if they sign Carr they trade down and go TE and WR. Probably try to get a qb in the 2nd and go defense from there.

Thomas Davis saying he's not sold on Anthony Richardson but believes in CJ Stroud
I saw that. I'm going be very interested to hear the takes from former players about this class. They have a very different view of these guys than the media blowhards do. Thomas is a Georgia homer and he admits it but he knows an nfl LB when he sees one.
