For those watching the Draft, yes Lady Cowboy Fan did hear Eagles DL Brandon Graham say "Dallas sucks" and she's ready to jump off the couch and go through the TV
But they do!

I understood two words in that entire press conference. If you speed it up it sounds like a normal conversation. I'm glad he's not as slow as he talks. I love it.

Want no part of this trade. Not putting the kind of money he wants into a single receiver with the current state of this team. Just wait. Let someone else have him.

There's not a position on our roster that can't be upgraded in the draft. If the right guy at the time of the pick is a running back, then take him.
We are literally a "the cupboard is bare" team right now. There's one sacred cow on the team that can't be replaced and he just got an extension this off-season to play DT for us. But there's still a spot to either side of him that can and should be replaced.
Running back under appreciated in the league, well that's a load of bull. Undervalued does not mean under-utilized. If that RB can catch and can find the hole in the line and make something for us, it'd do so much for our offense. And if he can pick up the blitz and block like a demon? Heck, that'd be great.
We had a guy like that. Dude played in the Super Bowl this year while our team took vacation and watched the game on TV.

IMO Mingo really needed to be in and developing in the slot.
Carolina drafted Mingo. Bragged about him being a slot weapon. Low ceiling Thielen sort of messes things up by having his high floor as savy old vet that takes up all those reps.
I'm guessing all of these receivers will be in a rotation. Mingo will get opportunities just like Leggette. They are going to need all of these guys to step up.

If it were me, I would take the Center. I just do not see them doing it. I see Cooper or Saintisil.
I tend to agree with you. I would love to get a center for the future but I think they are looking at other positions first. At this point we cannot be too picky about what we get in the draft because we could honestly use help at nearly every position outside of guard. I think we have enough of those to last a while.

Getting JPJ would be incredible. I hope they pick up O-line but as long as they stick with offense you can’t go wrong. They just need to support the QB.
Fixed it for you.

I wonder what’s wrong with Mingo. We basically gave up on him.
Gave up? How do you come to that conclusion?

Don't get me wrong I don't like the sombitch. I'm just not going to throw shade just to throw it. In this case there's nothing to throw.

the did alright group
Bears....got their QB and WR. so WIlliams will have DJ and Odunze to throw to. much better situation than Fields or Bryce had (two guys i'm sure he will be compared to in his rookie year).Pats...got a pretty good QB.
Raiders...got Bowers at 13? ca-ching.
Vikings...got them a QB and an Edge to build around. not too bad.
Both Xaviers...Worthy in an absolute dream situation and Leggette with his home team.
Chiefs and Panthers....got a couple guys who will end up fitting a lot of needs for them.
the not so much group
Maye...good QB going to a sucky situation. could wind up like Stroud's situation or Young's.falcons...word is the Cousin's camp is as perplexed as we all were. apparently he was told that they were going to look at drafting a young QB. also apparently that discussion didn't involve telling him they were going to draft someone in the first round. from the looks of it, i think they want to be the packers. it's one of those things that i don't think they thought all the way through. i hope it comes back to bite them.
the "well, i didn't see that coming" move
49ers taking Pearsall. i figured Leggette would be going earlier than a lot of people thought (mainly thanks to us), but i don't know anyone that was talking Pearsall in the first round. Not a bad choice at all, i just figured it would be McConkey they picked up.Why do I still have this feeling that Washington got the best qb last night? I will have to monitor that situation up there. I can't explain it it, it's just a gut feeling. It could also be gas.

I think he’s still struggling and hasn’t come to terms with the idea that it is more difficult to be a successful NFL owner than to be a successful hedge fund owner.
I also think he is accustomed to moving on quickly when he thinks things are a bad investment. That's not always the case in football because it takes longer for things to develop in football sometimes. He also relied in the wrong people for advice.

Its a total nothing burger, its funny in fact, but it just is another instance we can point to that tepper is a putz. A temperamental putz that cannot control his emotions.
For being as rich as he is he's just a regular guy just like the rest of us. I think fans forget that sometimes. He wasn't born into privilege, he earned it the hard way. That I respect about him. But he's going to have to figure this football ownership thing out because he's wearing out my patience with him.

dude tepper still has stopped in there 2x now over the sign? You think he was just shooting the poo with the manager/owner all things considered knowing what we know about the temperamental dickhead?
In this particular case I would have to agree that it's a nothing burger. If the establishment was bold enough to put up the sign I think they would certainly not cover Teppers ass in the encounter with him. If they say he wasn't being a dick I will take their word for it.

It's certainly different. How much improvement will be determined this season. It's hard to imagine it being worse.

I think its sadly humorous how some Huddlers are already calling him a bust. Unreal.
Bust? What fool said that? The kid can play and is a good pick for us. The trade up scared me when i heard it announced. That is that after effect from trading up last year. Now that I've digested it its not so bad. Pick 39 is the wildcard however. They can go in any direction with that pick.

I mean worst case, he's an upgrade over Thielen, who just tallied 1000 yards this season. If Bryce trusts him, he'll force feed him every game. Diontae will get 1000 yards if he doesn't get injured. That'll be worth a HUGE contract next year.
Depends on whether the land a stud in this draft or not. Morgan might decide to add another receiver in the next draft. Lots of things can happen before a decision on his contract has to be made.

I think would rather have Frasier anyway.
