We were 12-4 and took Prime Patriots down to the wire also

I don't want an offense that can almost win, we have had that, I want an offense that can actually win the superbowl

No more moral victories and happy to be there , it's victory or nothing!!!!!

Let's start with some consist almost wins and work on the actual SB titles if we get there.

I too want a few SB trophies to brag about.  But to get them you must be able to get there and keep getting there because brother that is the ultimate goal. Building a team to win it all 1 season is a short sighted and often chosen route by a lot of teams. But very few can carry that over to the following season.  Why is that?

The reality is extremely hard to do in the salary cap era. Players move on to better contracts and coaches move on the promotions elsewhere.  In essence you start over.

Every coach will tell you that he coaches a different team every season. There may be a lot of the same players and coaches but only this year's class has a chance to lift the trophy.

I got no insight into that, i do know it was posted within minutes of the game ending.

As a casual observer, I'd say that Andy Reid's reputation casts a long shadow over Eric Bienemy.  If Eric ever wants to be seriously considered for a head coach position, he would take a chance and move to another team as their OC.  After a season or two there would be little doubt as to Eric's capablities as an OC.

Logic would say you are right. It appears however that finding another GM or head coach willing to put his job on the line for that little experiment may be a bit difficult.

He has had his personal issues, as has been well-documented. Furthermore, maybe he just has a personality that rubs people the wrong way. Maybe he's an asshole. Who knows?

I just provided the info. If you want to call Andy Reid a liar, then that's your right to do so. On some level, I just know that Bienemy has been an integral part of the offense, if some want to think he's just there along for the ride, that's on them. It doesn't make sense to me, but not everyone thinks the same.

That's what I'm saying. Reid may be telling the truth, he could be trying to help him get a job, buts it's not. So, if true every team that interviewed him has called bullshit afterwards.  So they are calling him a lair as well.

I doubt his past would deter a team given how teams including our own went after Watson.

If he were an asshole explain Saun Payton. Ok, I might give you that one.

It doesn't make sense to me either.  The only thing left is that he's not very good at anything outside of whatever Andy actually has him do. Whatever that is.

Luke did some work in the radio booth didn't he?   How did he do?  Got to wonder since he and Greg are friends off the field how much Greg might influence him to continue to pursue broadcasting.  Unless he is just not good at it.

Luke doesn't strike me as the type that like to be in front of a camera.

13 Days until the combine.  Several players will move up and down on draft boards by showing off in their tights.

Ah the Underwear Olympics. Where fans confirm their biases over a straight line sprint in shorts.  I look forward to the prognostications.

If you want to win in this league and more importantly go to and win in the postseason you have to have a potent passing attack. If we have a QB who can't even do that we don't have a starting QB plain and simple.

According to Reich a qb has to be able to make 10 big time throws per game. Dumpoffs do not count. They have to be able to hit the target at every level. That should narrow the field a bit.

I hope Luke Kuechly comes back as a Defensive Quality Control coach at least. It would be nice having him back with the panthers even is it is as a coach.

I would love to eavesdrop in on a conversation between Luke and Capers about defensive strategy and tendencies.  Yes I'm a nerd.

There's something definitely going on there behind the scenes. I know there's been mention of some legal things potentially, but he must be horrible at interviewing or his coaching tree he could actually pull from is very limited.

There's something there, but its not because he's a minority.  If he's such a great OC it must be the only thing he can do. Because let's be honest, teams are desperate for quality coaches everywhere, especially head coach's.  You are going to tell me with a straight face that the only reason he's not getting a job is because he's black?  Nah bruh, come up with something more compelling and I'll listen.

Andy Reid said that Beinemy "literally calls the plays."

Then explain why Reid is always reading the play chart and Bieniemy can't get another offer? Don't use his race as an excuse because I'm not buying it. He gets interviewed every year but never a second interview.  If he knew his sh!t he would have been snatched up years ago.

Sounds like CBS doesnt have an out on the Romo contract until 2024.... GO might have to take a show host role until something opens up.  ESPN is the only network that needs new talent and arent stuck with ridic contracts.

note: TB12 doesnt join Fox until 2024... so CBS could technically land GO in two years.

Noone wants to work for ESPN. They are a dieing network with dwindling viewers.  I have all their channels blocked out so I don't have to skip over them all the time. They've become irrelevant.

Bienemy will likely end up staying in KC or going to DC. His only shot to have full playcalling duties is under a defensive HC. Fair or not, no one in the league is going to give him credit if he's an OC under an offensive-oriented HC.

Bieniemy is an OC in name only.  If he's learned anything under Reid it hasn't been enough to get a OC much less HC job offer anywhere else. Let that sink in for a minute.

If they don't land their "guy" from PHI/KC what are the chances Reich gives Duece the OC title and resumes play calling himself?

I think he will call plays himself this season. Unless he lands someone he trusts enough to let them call the plays from the start I just don't see that happening next season.  He might surprise me with that but he hasn't gotten where he is today without calling the plays himself.

That works if you get a rookie you want.

    It's possible we won't.

I would throw Corral out there and let it be what it is. If he gets hurt then whatever scrub vet backup they sign can steer is into a top 5 pick this time.

  15. Just now, Mr. Scot said:

    I wouldn't.

The idea of using a bridge QB to give a rookie time to learn isn't a bad one. It was just done poorly by Rhule.

    (like...well, everything)

It ensures that we are drafting in the top 15 every draft. A bridge qb only works if your draft pick works out. If they don't ever take over then where are you?

My preference would be to throw a rookie in the fire and see where you end up. If he fails you are in a great spot in the draft when the dust settles. If he shows promising results you continue on until he doesn't.  Rinse and repeat.

Yup, and to the dismay of many, I'm will to wait for a loaded 2024 QB class.  Where this class was supposed to be deep, albeit light at the top of the board--next year's class is both deep and top heavy.

You won't know that until next season is played out.  Just as this year's class was supposed to be deep before this past season was played.  Now look at it.

But there's still good prospects in the draft if you have the scouts that can identify the kind of qb you should take a chance on. That's the real question.

We are taking a qb. Odds are it will not be who the huddle majority want. Which will automatically make him a bust the first incomplete pass he throws.

Valid, but I'm not sure how much that's going to carry over.

For what it's worth, I don't really expect Carr to end up with us, but it's possible.

It would not shock me if he were signed here. It would severely disappoint me as it reeks of the same crap the went on under Rhule. I would loose a lot of faith that things are really going to change on this team no matter who the coach is.
