Somebody will want to move up to 3 for a QB. Denver, SF, or us. For all of the back-and-forth with QB FAs, I hope we move to 3 and take "our guy" that doesn't go at 1 and 2. I'm tired of all of this guess work and the burned bridge with Teddy.
Get Fields/Lance/Wilson at 3 and call it a day.....without giving up this year's 2nd round pick.
Hell why not move up to #2? It seems Tepper is going to do whatever it takes to get one so might as well consider that as an option also.

I've never been for it. I've been even more against it as the trade costs have inflated. I'm even more against it based on the allegations.
You never get your own improvements done taking on someone else's troubles.
I have had this opinion from the beginning.

If the police are not investigating this by now they should be. Watson should ask them to himself if he's innocent. If it is truly a shack down then clear your name young man.
Or, sit in silence and let the narrative dictate your future.

I think anyone with a functioning brain knew this was way too much drama to sign up for.

I think what people mean is that what was this story if he wasn't trying to get traded.
So this lawyer and the Texans just keep this under wraps as long as he's being a good lil black man but step out of line and the Texans will have to show you your place as they can't let the inmates run poo...
That's how I took it at least, not that it was completely invented at the back yard grill between the neighbors.
The scariest looking part to me is that this seems to be known and been known about so the women weren't important to the lawyer/Texans so long as the top 5 QB is with them? This is the most likely truth in all this.

They better find out he likes to get his freak on for damn sure.

I have a hard time believing that any woman that is afraid of a large man sexually assaulting them is going to take the time to think about whether or not it'll be a civil case or a criminal case when they're done.
He philosophy is that as long as you don't stick your pecker in an orifice it's okay to harass a woman for sexual favors. If you're not doing it you are a beta, I think that was his word.

I have an ex wife. A daughter and a girlfriend. I’d like to think I’d raise my daughter well enough that she doesn’t put herself in those situations. She’s too young for dating but when she gets to that age she will understand the power in the word no.
So if one of them came to you with one of the situations your first reaction would be that she was making this up for fame or money?

Was it not a poor decision to proceed with the session? To not report it right away? Both can be true.
Yes, if true is was. But that doesn't negate what happened.

I can tell most of y’all never had the juice like that. Take what you could get. I understand.
I'm sure if the juice were your wife or daughter you would think differently.

Hence they’re in civil court and not criminal. See how fine those lines are.
If these stories turn out to be true then there's no mistaking where the line was crossed. It was a poor decision on his part for even putting himself in this situation. Try to spin it anyway you want but the proof is out there for the world to see.
I'm doing with this topic myself but you have at it.

I'll take the risk of "looking like a beta" over being accused of rape, or actually committing one, pretty much ten times out of ten.
He's acting like Watson was on a date with these women. This was a professional service supposedly so there was never a reason to act like an Alfa.

I would say if I'm the agent for a young NFL player (or any sports league honestly) and I suspect my client has set up private massage sessions, I'd tell them stop that sh-t right now.
And if they haven't, tell them to not even think about it.
This case is exhibit A of what can happen if you are a high profile individual and you think you can keep your private life off the streets. Being young and doing what others do doesn't absolve them from their responsibilities to the team and themselves. If you chose to put yourself at risk for something like this then you can't complain when it goes sideways.

if he is innocent of all of this I still question deshaun’s judgement in setting up these types of appointments through Instagram. It just screams of immaturity. I get he’s a 25 year old dude but come on. Gotta make better decisions. If he did do this he should never play another snap in the nfl.
This says a lot about his decision making.

Reading the Texans message boards and it seems they are skeptical of these allegations yet eager to just be done with the Deshaun Watson drama...
It's going to be tough to find a team that are willing to take it on. Poor choices have costly results for the player and team.

I hear we are combing over CPCC's players for a hidden gem.
I don't care if they find them on the street corner. If they can ball give them a shot. We can't be picky about where they come from.

I mean, the Riot Report review on Elflein wasn't exactly stellar either.
IMO, they seemed like reaches at the time. We will have to see if they see something that we don't. We know that Whitehead and Weatherly were both examples of big misses from the last offseason. Anderson was a big hit, though.
I am not expecting much from either of the two myself. Well maybe some special teams play if they are any good at it. I've learned to temper my expectations with this team. The cream will rise to the top eventually.

They will probably be around .500 for the season. It's Ron's ceiling without an all-star QB.

Really cheap deal, I like it. And as an aside, his first career 100 yard game came against... the Carolina Panthers! We’re career changers.
The Panthers have a habit of allowing a lot of "firsts" happen under their watch.
Miller is back
