It's difficult for me to have much sympathy for KK. He's made a lot of money mostly sitting at home. He doesn't need to work. Thanks for the memories KK.

Too rich for my blood. I'm out.

I'm so glad he didn't quit. I really am pulling for him to catch on here. He really hasn't played that much football so it's amazing how he's developed into a solid player.

Pay the man. Don't let him get away no matter what.

I'm not a fan of challenging the OSU curse. Pass.

C) Want him to be pushing the starter for playing time and can carry the team into the playoffs if necessary. I want him to be the future at the position if we can keep him or at least get some value for him if not.
Rinse and repeat.
I know, but one can dream.

Let’s see one of the best coaches in the NFL and sure fire HOFamer on his way to a second straight Super Bowl has a delinquent child with a history or problems who gets behind the wheel after drinking and seriously injures someone including children.
Andy Reid is fat but his bank account is fatter - cut a check to the victims, no charges for his moron kid by the fanboy police and it’s like it never happened. Weird!
Had this happened 20 years ago I would agree. But with today's social media access I kinda doubt this goes away that easily.

If this is true he will get what he deserves. Unfortunately those he injured didn't deserve what happened to them. I have no sympathy for those who have no regard for the safety of children. Selfish behavior to put it mildly, criminal is more like it.

Who needs a house that large? It's just for show. But to each their own I guess.

Here's how I understand the logic behind it...
Brees knows he's not going to get paid either way because he's retiring, so his salary being on the books only affects the Saints negatively with no benefit..
To fix this, he reduces his salary to league minimum. The Saints can't get entirely away from his contract, but this does a lot to lessen the impact of it.
And the Saints can definitely use the cap relief.

Thing that pisses me off is...who did they think Teddy was...like now he has leprosy and they tryin to ditch him... just makes me question the fk outta their judgment...and, will they get it right this time.
Well the alternative is to not admit a mistake in judgement and stick with Teddy. Personally I prefer the approach they are taking by moving on. Seems reasonable to me.

I was more defending Fields. Most people are not good at public speaking. To assume they lack character as a result probably isn't wise.
Being a good orator does not mean that person is of high character.
See politicians.
Character and charisma are two different traits. One is not dependent on the other.

Matt Rhule also spoke very highly of Will Grier, who never got so much as a whiff of playing time. Rhule has a soft spot for the college kids and wants to talk them up, but he seems to know what's what.
Rhule talks every player up in public. Doesn't mean he's going to draft them.
Now what he says to them in the locker room may not align with what he says in public. He will use whatever language he deems necessary to motivate said player or players.
Granted he seemed to bend that rhule with Teddy after the season with his "has to have a tremendous off-season" comment. And now with the openly aggressive search for his replacement obviously signals the end of the Teddy era before it ever got started.
But I'm not even the least bit concerned about this up coming season. This is a new team, finally.
There's no where to go but up Panthers fans. Enjoy the ride.

Worth remembering that analysts characterized this as "an aggressive offer".
I would agree with that. But it's a fair deal that doesn't cost use a lot of picks. It's going to be interesting if they end up going into the season with Teddy on the team. It's obvious they want a change at QB, even Ray Charles could see that, God rest his soul.

I agree with him. I hope our new GM thinks the same way.
