I'll pay him based on his contribution in the second half - y'know, when the game was on the line.
$3.50 - take it or leave it.
First half he came out on fire, looking for the pay day and sending a message of what he brings to the defense and his value. In the second half, his message to the F.O. was "fug you for not paying me"

I never understood being angry with a player for getting injured in a game or practice. Kid works hard, just has terrible luck so far
I would call it frustration, not anger, at least speaking for myself. And it's not directed at Horn, it's the F.O. who has seen the durability red flags over and over and yet have chosen not to address it. If the team knows JC is injury prone, and knows that CJ Henderson is toast in coverage, and has done nothing to address that, they're to blame, not Horn.

If it's confirmed an Achilles tear, does A Rod call it a career?

If what we saw in the preseason was vanilla offense, then what was that today? To hell with the secrecy and game planning if guys can't get separation. It was great to see Bryce with so much time in the pocket early in the game, to not be rushed, but we're lucky there weren't more coverage sacks because he's smart enough to check down or throw it away, while from his point of view he saw a Falcons defender (or two) draped over everyone running routes.

I honestly think CMC would've played in significantly more games had we been competitive. It just got to the point in those seasons that why put more miles on the tires of your best player when you're out of contention? Sure wish we'd done that with Cam and his shoulder.

Starting to feel like the typical “ok we let the underdog hang around long enough”. Maybe this game will come down to which defense can step up.

What’s great about App fans is that they will all be pulling for UNC next week.
Born and raised in Charlotte, grew up loving the Heels, graduated from App State. It's a complicated existence, but I make it work. Pulled like hell for UNC to knock off SC last weekend, would love an App win today in CH but I know we're playing against Maye with house money.

Turnovers and dumb penalties, Rhule got his fingerprints all over the Nebraska program quick. You love to see it.

Plenty of players play all the way through their contracts. But more and more it seems like more and more players want to get a raise every 2 years. So things like this happen every year. It happened 6 times this year alone. Burns isn't the only one still holding out.
Well to be honest. Burns hasn't actually held out yet.
Yep, this is where my thinking is - is he playing unless otherwise stated, or not playing unless otherwise stated? Since he's never declared he's holding out, I would assume the former.

So, when will the thread appear of will Burns play Sunday if no deal is reached? Unless it happens tonight, I don't see anything getting done with the team traveling tomorrow. Unless they can reach an agreement and ink the contract Monday. Still, not sure if players suit up between an agreement and signing.

I go as the team goes, that's as simple as I can explain it. To make it simpler:

Nice win Lions. Knocking off the champs at home during their coronation game is chefs kiss

I'm not smart enough to contribute to this thread, so here's a monkey

I enjoyed every second of that video posted above. Not because of the Nebraska players who have worked hard preparing for the season, but because I'm a petty bitch and the schadenfreude for Rhule is like a drug.

Yep. IOC and FIFA corrupt as hell.
im convinced most NFL owners are probably guilty of something if the government “really” wanted to investigate them.
NCAA is one of the worst organizations in the world. College sports full of garbage and plenty of reasons to not like college athletics.
NBA officials are the only reputable bunch in any professional sports setting

Question I have is, when Corbett is ready to return, and Zavala is (hopefully) playing well, what do you do at that guard position?
CRAZY Stat When Trailing....
in Carolina Panthers

I'm going to take the positive spin here, although it's a hail mary. That type of 4th quarter ineptitude just can't last forever. Regression to the mean should start now hence more pull-ahead 4th quarter games and wins. Either that or the stat won't matter once we put an opponent down early and we aren't trailing in the 4th at all.
brb, time for another hit of acid
