I'm reading some stuff about Bo Horvat (Vancouver) being offered up and a good place is in Raleigh. Doesn't make sense to me, on the surface, because the team is pretty much loaded with centers and that's not really the issue right now. Of course, any trade rumors involve Jarvis- he's not going anywhere. And the fact Carolina is on a streak without their best player doesn't really scream, "We need a solution!" Thoughts?

I'll say Pittsburgh wins by a goal tonight when Raanta gives up one of his patented softies. And the Canes didn't morning skate during the Islander-Red Wings-Seattle stretch and won all 3 .

Pittsburgh is favored tonight at home. I'm committed to the WRAL Night of Lights thing tonite at Dix, so I'll likely miss the game. I'll record it just in case it's something special.

Whatever it takes to put TT in a position where he feels comfortable shooting when the opportunity presents itself. For the life of me, I cannot figure out why he is so hesitant to shoot, especially when only positive things happen.

RBA is absolutely right when he says that was not a well=played game. That may have been the most shots given up this season so far. When I'm seeing a team double up the Canes with shots on goal, I'm very worried this isn't a game they can win. And, without a lot of doubt, I think I can say this game is a loss with Raanta, Ned, Mrazek in goal. Maybe even Anderson. Cannot allow offensive-minded teams with shooters all over the roster put up nearly 40 shots on goal.
