The boys matched Seattle's speed and really caused havoc defensively. Kraken had a difficult time just getting their offense set up. This was a quality win against a team who has historically been a ttough match for the Canes.

Canes are favored on the road against a 5-0-1 team in Calgary. That being said, the Flames succeeded against a relatively weak schedule thus far, winning against Vancouver in OT, Philly, Edmonton, and Chicago. They lost to Seattle in OT and beat the Pens in a shootout Tuesday. Suffice to say, the Flames haven't faced a team as deep as Carolina and I think the Canes can win this by wearing the Calgary D down in the offensive zone. Puck possession!

We traveled to Cleveland for a long weekend to attend the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at the Rocket Mortgage Arena Saturday night, and earlier in the day, we walked thru the HOF and museum to see some of the newer exhibits since our last visit in 2021. Within a few feet of each other, I found a Jay-Z and a DMX Canes jersey in 2 separate display cases. My wife got a pic of Jack Black nearly running me over trying to escape the paparazzi and autograph hounds in the baggage claim area as he flew out the door, only to return a few minutes later and have to walk around me while I stood in one spot. Dude is only 5'8", if that. Anyway, great night of music and stories told.
