How does it feel, as a player, working your ass off to score & win, all the while knowing the guy in net couldn't be trusted to order lunch, much less stop a shot. Granted, some will say the Pens goal wasn't on him, but Bussi seems to stop plenty of shots that "aren't on him," too.

Canes were reported to be very interested in veteran center Phillip Danault, only to see the Kings trade him to Montreal for a 2nd rounder next year. Not an offensive machine, but a strong 2C who plays excellent D, wins face offs and is strong down the middle.

The team has enough talent to win enough games to make the post-season, regardless who the HC is. So, what to do?

The blue line is doing all it can under the circumstances. RBA keeps switching pairings, among other things. Miller has been very good alongside Slavin, not so much alongside Ghost, Chatty and Reilly, all of whom have been paired with him. What do you expect? RBA peaked a couple years ago. Laviolette is available, or go get Cooper or Maurice. Still looking for a 2C. Demote Freddie and roll with Bussi and Kochetkov.

Freddie now owns 9 of Carolina's 14 losses. And I have now been in attendance at 3 home losses in a row.

I'm sitting 10 feet behind Freddie- he's washed. I'm seeing these plays better than he is.

Stats mean dick unless context is there. Aho's stats say he's about a point-per-game player, but the reality is he disappears for games at a time. On another note, the Canes will either be pissed off they blew a 3-0 lead in 10 minutes and they'll play like it, or... They'll fold after losing the face of the franchise and the combination of b2b road games still trying to put a complete starting roster on the ice since opening day.

There is a Grand Canyon-sized chasm between your opinion and the opinions of most former player hockey guys who do this for a living.

How good is this team if someone besides Jarvis shows up on the top line? And Svech's SO winner is, by far, the exception and not the rule.
