Bars can be sued for giving the person alcohol so it's the same thing. Right or wrong it's basically the same thing. Actually in SC all restaurant who serve have to carry 2 million in insurance for that exact reason because even if you serve 1 drink to a person and they harm someone it's your fault.
An individual can also be sued at their home for serving someone who leaves their house and has an auto accident hurting. If people drink too much at my house their happy ass is staying put
not going to lose my house because someone is stupid

Notable passage from 2/8/2021 KCPDM press release: "A gray Chevy Impala was on the southbound entrance ramp from Stadium Drive. The Chevy Impala ran out of gas and was initially stopped with flashers on, but the battery was dying."
Note: There are some "supplemental reports" discussing "Probable Contributing Circumstances" related to all 3 vehicles involved...haven't seen any of those reports.

It is fairly safe to say that drinking slows reaction time behind the wheel. It has been proven over and over and over again.
It is also safe to say that he is guilty of driving while impaired at a minimum and bodily injury at his failure to react

Just wanted to share this info. Typically they are out by now.
Talked to ticket rep yesterday and the notice on invoices will be emailed next week.
ive had problems getting emails from the Panthers ticket office before due to my old time Warner email address domain. Believe a few others have as well, so thought this info was worth a share Just check the PSL section on Panthers.com if you don’t receive an email
even with Teddy, I’ll be glad to be in the stadium again

I don’t understand why so many people keep this up with Tepper. He has shown no evidence of being “too involved”. He had to set up the business side of the team and just now got the football side in line with a new structure and all pieces in place. He gives his opinion on the team, which is a warm welcome from Richardson who literally never spoke to the public. Speaking of that guy, no one pointed out how terrible he was as an owner until the “Jean day” articles came out and he was forced to sell the team.
Tepper admitted he should have canned Hurney when he did Rivera which was also refreshing. The guy isn’t afraid to speak to the public about his ideas, views of the team, and future goals/needs. All of these threads asking if he’s a failed owner, talking about how bad he sucks, that he’s too involved etc are just a waste. At the end of the day what are we going to do? Fire him? He may deserve criticism down the road, but as of right now he does not.
Three losing seasons in a row
looks to be setting up for a fourth and that sure seems like potential of failure to me
not sure how I feel about him and not sure it matters but if he wants to build that new stadium, and people to keep throwing dollars at his franchise, he best stop talking about ‘the process’ and start producing

I know ‘who’
the LB, and I believe a 4th RD draft choice by Rivera, does anyone know anything of his status for this year
he flashed a little when Ron let him play

I'm not saying his mouth is the gospel, but he knows what he's looking at and what to look for in film. I believe that he generally won't make a definitive statement as to a potential player's efficacy in the NFL because so much has to do with where they land and a team's system and expectations, but Cosell seems spot-on with his film breakdown (and that's why he's one of my favorites).
thanks for doing thisI’ll take that sandlot player. After 3 seconds, what happens when the play breaks down
pit also demonstrates ‘the want to make something from nothing’ qb.
I think the problem they might see with Trey is they want Teddy gone today. They don’t care about the cap hit. Someone has to start next year and I don’t see any of the top abs doing that without getting killed. Could be wrong

I wish that I could embed the radio podcast, but I can't. That being said, Greg Cosell is always worth a listen. I think he talks the jargon of evaluators (and mirrors some of the points @Vergesays). FWIW, I'll give you an idea (in my words). Traits are not everything as to what constitutes a QB who will make the transition from college to the pros successfully, but they are highly important. "Secondary reaction ability" is nearly a necessity in today's franchise QB.
Here are some admittedly selective "cliff notes". [Basically, listen to the interview!]
Lawrence should develop into a quality NFL QB. Joe Burrow is obviously not as strong, but was slightly more advanced coming out last year than Lawrence this year.
Zach Wilson is clear number 2. Has great pocket efficiency and is a good distributor. Good feel for the passing game. Has that legit "playmaking movement dimension"
Justin Fields "scares me a little bit" in the words of a QB coach he talked with. Issues with "recognition, with vision and elimination and isolation from the pocket...He needs things to be clean and defined to be consistently successful..."
Lance has a "...strong live arm, excellent athleticism. There's a "twitch and explosiveness" to his game passing and running. "He's got a lot of traits!"
Mac Jones was a good executioner and distributor in his offense. He's a "bad athlete" and has "almost no ability to play outside structure whatsoever..."
Kyle Trask "is a backup!"
Start at 9:08
This was interesting
I hate to say it but if the rumors of the Panthers being love with Fields being true, that would be very concerning Not surprising just concerning given their previous love of Bridgewater
i like Greg but before I see gospel is probably have to listen to what he said about the mahomes draft class
or maybe that’s way they are trying to trade desperately for Watson as they don’t like this year and next years crop of QBs

To be fair, it was a 1.5 hr interview with Brandon Marshall. Chad Johnson and one other player
I watched the I AM Athlete featuring Cam
i thought Cam did a great job. He was honest. He was thoughtful. he was funny and he was introspective
having watched him from college to the Panthers to now I was like, my god he has grown up
I like him more now than when he played here

Otherwise, it’s a rumor or heresay or news in a slow news period or potentially a team striving for a bidding war.

it was Ron Rivera who went 4 wheeling for 8 years with a Ferrari.Best synopsis ever in the quote above
I love Cam and always will
best of times and worst of times was his time at QB. Never felt such a tangle of emotions
I wish he would retire for his own good but that is hard for alpha males to do in sports
I wish him the absolute best and as I said at the time and still mean it, there is a way to treat people and a way not to ...too often in the Panthers org it’s been the latter

Panthers give a lot to move up for fields machines to the Saints. I subscribe to the Athletic
2021 NFL mock draft: Panthers, Washington, 49ers trade for QBs in Dane Brugler’s latest
At this point in the draft season, a mock draft is all about examining various scenarios, and it can be tough to do a realistic projection of the first round without including a few trades. In last year’s first-round, 11 picks were made by teams that didn’t originally own that selection.
Trades are difficult to predict, but here are six plausible moves that could shake up Round 1. (Note: The Rams, Seahawks and Texans are not picking in the first round.)
1. Jacksonville Jaguars — Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson
No need to project a trade here — the Jaguars aren’t expected to shop this pick. Lawrence will undergo surgery in a few weeks to repair his non-throwing shoulder, but that won’t have any effect on his draft projection.
2. New York Jets — Zach Wilson, QB, BYU
This is where the draft starts and there will be plenty of speculation on a possible trade at No. 2 if the Jets decide to stick with Sam Darnold. However, there is a greater chance New York sees an opportunity to reset the franchise with a new quarterback, but which one? If Wilson does well during the interview process, many around the league expect him to be the favorite here. | Beat writer analysis: Connor Hughes reacts to the pick
3. ***TRADE***
Carolina Panthers receive:
2021 first-round pick (No. 3 overall)Miami Dolphins receive:
2021 first-round pick (No. 8 overall)
2021 third-round pick
2021 fifth-round pick
2022 first-round pickCarolina Panthers (via MIA) — Justin Fields, QB, Ohio State
The Panthers’ ownership and front office have made it known that they plan to be aggressive this offseason in upgrading the quarterback position. They missed out on Matthew Stafford, and Deshaun Watson remains a long shot, making the draft their best opportunity. Instead of sitting at No. 8 and hoping a quarterback falls to them, they out-bid other teams and go and get their guy in this mock. Fields needs time, but all the talent is there for him to develop into Carolina’s answer at the position. | Beat writer analysis: Joe Person’s reaction to the trade and pick
4. Atlanta Falcons — Penei Sewell, OT, Oregon
The Falcons are certainly a wild card with this pick. With a new head coach and general manager, they have a chance to draft a young quarterback to groom behind Matt Ryan. Or they can go the “best available” route and upgrade the current roster while still competing. The Falcons heavily scouted the offensive tackles in last year’s class and will likely do the same this year. Whether they plan to move Jake Matthews inside to guard or have Sewell start inside, Atlanta’s offensive line would be immediately better with this addition. | Beat writer analysis: Tori McElhaney reacts to the pick
5. Cincinnati Bengals — Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida
The Bengals need to upgrade the offensive line — that is indisputable. But it might not happen with this pick, especially if Sewell is off the board. Will they grade Northwestern’s Rashawn Slater this high? Maybe, but some teams don’t. The Bengals are expected to be a team willing to trade back, but if stuck here, Pitts would give Joe Burrow and Cincinnati a unique mismatch weapon. | Beat writer analysis: Paul Dehner reacts to the pick
6. Philadelphia Eagles — Ja’Marr Chase, WR, LSU
With the uncertainty of the organization’s quarterback situation, the Eagles are another team that might be in the mix for a top-10 quarterback prospect. But in this scenario, Howie Roseman and the front office decide to build up the roster, adding a three-level threat like Chase, who can be a legitimate No. 1 receiver in any offense. | Beat writer analysis: Bo Wulf on trade options here for the Eagles
7. ***TRADE***
Washington Football Team receives:
2021 first-round pick (No. 7 overall)Detroit Lions receive:
2021 first-round pick (No. 19 overall)
2021 third-round pick (No. 82 overall)
2022 first-round pickWashington Football Team (via DET) — Trey Lance, QB, North Dakota State
With Alex Smith, Kyle Allen and Taylor Heinicke, Washington has several short-term options at quarterback. But Lance would give the organization a young, high-upside player with the physical talent and football character that translates well to the pro level. With the competition for quarterbacks in this draft, it will likely take multiple draft picks, including a future first, to make this deal happen for Washington. | Beat writer analysis: Ben Standig answers the question, Should WFT go get him?
28. New Orleans Saints — Mac Jones, QB, Alabama
When asking around the league for guesses on where Jones will land, the responses were varied and ranged from top-15 to mid-second round. He is a tough player to project in a mock draft, but his fit in New Orleans would be ideal for both sides. The Saints have a win-now roster, and Jones has NFL-ready accuracy and anticipation. | Beat writer analysis: Katherine Terrell reacts to the pick

I don’t see any of this happening
if Miami is truly in the hunt, that’s it for the Panthers More draft capital and players to offer I’d take Tua over Teddy in two shakes of a rat’s ass
Florida’s tax situation is better than NC’s
I honestly can’t see a young man choosing Charlotte over Miami
.....and at the end of the day it’s his choice supposedly where he goes If it’s Miami or Charlotte, it’s Miami
as much as Tepper may lust for him, I suspect this love is unrequited and that’s probably in the Panthers best interest

I don’t think he would want to come here after we trade away our draft assets and he has to play behind a o-line that can’t protect him. Also we’ll have a defense that gives up 30+ a game cause we traded away our future. How is this attractive to Watson?
It’s not like we can’t add people in free agency and we don’t have rds 2 through 7 left

I get the concern however....There are seven rds in the nfl draft, six more after we give up the first
we would be fine. The best teams find value in rds 2 through seven and that’s way Fitterer was brought here
the panthers have historically failed in rds 2 through 7 and that is why there are no back to back winning seasons
