    On the McVay front there are rumblings that if any of the “core” (Aaron Donald, Jalen Ramsey, Cooper Kupp, Matt Stafford) leave or retire then McVay has said himself that he was done.

    Payton wants to take the easy route anyway and go somewhere with a drafted QB. Don’t blame him but the Saints never had to do the dirty work and draft a franchise guy so why would he be any different now?

    Sam can make any throw needed but his issues is the processing and decision making…always has been. There were a number of times where he holds onto the ball too long.

    He’s where he belongs at the college level and if they win big one day good for them but avid college fans don’t realize the difference between coaching 18-22 year olds vs 22-30+ year olds that make lots of money for a business.

    Give me someone that players will listen to as opposed to someone who can draw up good plays but won’t be listened to. If Steichen, Johnson, who ever can do both then so be it but my biggest fear is another Stefanski or Chud.

    It’s one of those it’s not fully healed and he’s playing through it. Shaq was the same way with the foot last year till it came to a point he couldn’t walk. Just because it’s not listed doesn’t mean he’s not in pain.
