I’m gonna stick here in the huddle and read all the cool threads.

I agree with you that he got hurt. The video of him getting his ankle rolled was proof.
Theey can fake that shiit. You ever see that moon landing bs?

Might want to put him on the bench where he belongs. He's just not ready. Is a 4th round rookie who missed most of camp really the best we've got for OL depth?
I would be fine if he was getting worked into a rotation here and there but no way should he be starting. Eventually he may be starter quality but that remains to be seen.
I get Byron Bell vibes right now with Zavala. Not in terms of talent but in terms of situation. I actually felt bad for Bell because they consistently put the guy in a position where he was called to do more than what he is capable of.

To check out, to quit, to find a new team, whatever you prefer.
We hired a retread, shitty coach who thinks 1950s offense is innovative and cutting edge.
Today is a very sad day of realizations. We fuged up big time and we're in a deep, deep hole. This isn't just some regular old rebuild... we are in a bad way.
I’m an NC State grad and fan. I’m built for shitty to mediocre football/sports teams. Back in my day (only old ass men say that) we didn’t have the google to whine so we learned to cope with cheap piss warm beer.
Gonna take a lot more than than a retread coach and a clueless hedge fund billionaire to run me off.

DBs are a problem but I think the panther D is legit.
If we can establish some sort of running game we have a punchers chance. I know there will be a lot of garbage talk about the offense flourishing without BY but I don’t think his mistakes and maturity have been the main issue thus far.

Everyone posting in this thread will be watching or closely following the game. Stop lying. Yes we suck ass and no it won’t be fun but you’ll turn it on anyway.
You are right. If for nothing else many will watch to take notes for post topics. I mean, if a person posts on a fan forum all week and can’t be bothered to watch/follow the actual game (not speaking about folks with life priorities which take precedent), then I think the status changes from fan to troll.

I’m a fan of the team so I will generally watch no matter what.

What if some Beverly Hillbilly Oklahoma City oil tycoon was awarded the franchise instead of JR? We wouldn’t be having this conversation.

My dad is a lifelong Eagles fan. He interrupted my rant last night while texting during the game, reminding me just how bad Jalen Hurts was year 1. That season, and even most of year 2, he was calling for Hurts to be benched. Hurts learned and developed, and is now a top 10 QB. I’m down on Bryce right now, but probably unfairly so.
Nice post. Thanks for paying attention to an older guy.
BTW, That pie I gave is for your dad.

A lotta mythologizing Steve ***** Wilkes in here. He was not good. He wasn’t a good DC, wasn’t a good HC. We got a morale boost at the end of the year last year because the cancer that was Rhule was finally excised, but Wilkes and his crew would have been far worse for this franchise long term. Reich isn’t looking too good right now through two games, but ffs if we can give Ron Shortbus Rivera nine years, we can give Reich more than two games.

Only this franchise could have ruined him. Good on him. The Charlotte browns remain trash. Bryce young also looks bored in the pocket. Even stroud put up numbers today, he still a bust though. Wonder if we can get a first for burns at the deadline
I saw an ad on YouTube TV promoting Hallmark channel’s Christmas movie marathon.
Given some of the posts I’ve seen, this may be a healthy alternative for some folks.

Thank you for the rationally and thoughtful post. What you say makes total sense.
Are you new here?

You could just repost this statement in about 80-90% of all threads and it would track.

We could have sat him the first 3 to 4 games to let him watch. So we the fans will have to bite our tongues as he learns the NFL game. Next year if we see this type play. Then we can scream "TOLD YOU SO!"
There is no tongue biting on The Google. If you sit him 3-4 games the narrative is why trade up to the number 1 pick if he is not ready and you dont want to play him. Pitchforks would be out for Reich and Fitt. Then when he gets in week 4 and makes a rookie mistake we would be having this same conversation.
Same level of misery, just in a different bucket.
I personally prefer to watch his progression week to week rather than manufacturing a crisis on every miscue.

When he was traded last year I think there was talk about him no being comfortable talking. He could be totally done as others said but I do think it’s in his nature to be aloof.

We are just going to ignore the 4 GWD in Brady's first 6 playoff games including 2 SBs?
Is it me, or does comparing a rookies performance playing in his first game, to the body of work of arguably the greatest QB of all time seem a wee bit irrational? Are we really talking about 6 GOAT playoff games when the kid hasn't played 6 quarters of football yet?
People already on the Bryce bust train may end up being correct, but I think 4 quarters of football is not enough to draw conclusions.

Social media seems to be made for this in today's society.
Yes. Not sure it would be a method I would choose but I’m an old ass man and not a 25 year old star that grew up with social media. He is showing up to work and doing his job so who am I to judge.

Game comes down to the QB that makes the fewest mistakes and our beloved Rookie will not be rattled dammit!
27-20 is my pick.

Falcons by 13. Sorry, but this team has a lot to prove before I feel good about a game.
I feel good about the team and will feel better if they win Sunday. They will still have a lot to prove though.
I can’t go into game one miserable. Still 16 more to go.
