  1. Like your sense of humor. The answers we seek often lies in the question we ask.
  2. My take is that Bryce was terrible coming in but improved at the end of last season which did make me excited about watching this team again. If he continues to improve and look better (I hope he does) then we’re not in the market for a QB. If he regresses or doesn’t show signs of being anything more than a mid to low end starter we are probably looking for a QB next April. Excited to see what he can do and hope he can build on last seasons momentum.
  3. Draft euphoria is over and we are in the dregs of the offseason til training camp. Buckle up.
  4. I couldn’t get excited about drafting him prior to the draft but I’m all in (I guess I have to be) on TMac. Maybe some of it is Kool-Aid but I’m excited and it’s the season of hope but it feels like we finally have a true threat at WR since forever.
  5. No, so admittedly my comment is not a fully informed one. But had the misfortune of experiencing West Lafayette in the winter many years ago and I’m not a winter person.
  6. Occam’s razor says it has something to do with Purdue being in West Lafayette Indiana whereas A&M isn’t.
  7. Not trying to be melodramatic but from a corporate standpoint there is a big push for data security and privacy pertaining to personal information. Someone mentioned in the other thread about suing the kid but the only place there is possible money is him suing the Falcons organization for negligence related to the leaked personal information. At best, Shedur makes some added bank and the Falcons look like fools while this circus plays out. At worst, he’ll get free credit monitoring for a year or two.
  8. Screw all that new fangled sorcery. All I need is this site and my Mickey Gilley 8 track.
  9. I wonder how many other team message boards have similar threads today. No way I can endorse this for the Panthers but the further he slips the louder this will get across the league.
  10. My overall impression from the interview is that he is humble and cautious stepping into the NFL but not overwhelmed. Not overconfident which to me is a good thing as it helps him keep his edge and stay on top of things. It’s good to be slightly out of your comfort range. Was kinda meh on the pick but not gonna bash the kid before he takes a snap so let’s go TMAC.
  11. Yes. If everyone’s assessed career trajectory was based on a thoughtless statement he or she made when they were 17/18 most folks (self included) would be in real trouble. I am dubious of this pick but it is the pick and want to be fair. Judging his or anyone’s character or work ethic based on a comment coming out of high school is completely unfair. He had the correct answer btw.
  12. I was thinking it was some guy with a MySpace account but your assumption definitely tracks.
  13. If Mason Graham slips to 13 there is a significant deficiency no one else but Peter is privy to.
  14. Pulling this from an old man memory but I think one of the three has a 1 year contract another has a bad knee.
  15. Ian Thomas was only 7 receiving yards ahead of me last season. He bested me by 56 yards in 2023 so IMO I am closing the gap rapidly.
  16. People complain too much about the draft sub forum still showing 2023, Tepper and his turf and I miss the sub forum that celebrated the beauty of the human female.
  17. Seems like every year Chris has a negative take many Panther fans take exception to and every year I thank him for exspleening himself.
  18. If I were in his shoes I would likely be involved as well. Ideal scenario is he treats football operations like his Lear jet Would like to understand how things work but probably best to let someone else fly it.
  19. I think a total hands off approach is not attainable. The football team is a toy the Billionaire plays with. Ideally he finds a happy balance of being informed, engaged and questioning the process. It’s one thing to be aware of what’s going on and make sure there is logic and reason in said process. It’s another to circumvent the process with “ gut instinct” and personal preference. if he can do that, drop some cash in the facilities and stop throwing drinks, things will start turning around I hope
  20. I do like him as a a team guy but the above is accurate. I wish him well though.
