BSP makes all the big plays in loss

Brian St. Pierre made the play of the year.

Then he made two of the kind most people expected.

The Carolina Panthers replacement quarterback threw an eye-popping 88-yard touchdown pass to David Gettis, but followed with back-to-back interceptions which Baltimore turned into touchdowns in a 37-13 demolition at Bank of America Stadium.

The play to Gettis -- the second-longest pass completion in franchise history -- cut the Baltimore lead to 20-13 in the fourth quarter, and had people interested.

But when Baltimore followed with Ed Reed's pick, which he lateraled to Dawan Landry for a score, the reality set in.

Ray Lewis' pick-six on the next snap brought it crashing home, ruining what would have been a good story for the guy coach John Fox said "gives us the best chance," to win.

The Ravens hadn't scored a defensive touchdown all year, then scored two in 11 seconds.

St. Pierre, who was promoted from the practice squad Tuesday and leapfrogged Tony Pike, finished the day 13-of-28 for 173 yards, to go along with his three scoring throws.

    • Rockets need to get their poo together.  No Curry and still getting worked.
    • And he smells like hotdog water.
    • Most of us Hornets fans are in heaven right now, but it’s never too early to look ahead to next year. We have some serious draft capital and trade bait to throw around this offseason. Starting this new thread to ask…who would you target to upgrade next year’s squad? This new Front Office clearly has a plan and is good at evaluating talent.  In my dream scenario, we would put together a package for a dominant BIG on the same timeline as our BIG3.  Jalen Duren would be my #1 target (even over guys like Giannis).  Whether that’s remotely possible or not, I have no clue. Who are some young players / trade scenarios we might pull off this offseason? The Coby White trade seems to be paying off, as well as our last draft, let’s keep it going!  Buzz Buzz Bitchezz.
