The Godfather Series

It's a Wonderful Life

Citizen Kane

Raging Bull

The Good, Bad and Ugly

Blade Runner

The Bourne Series

Thor

Apocalypse Now

The Avengers

Mad Max

The Green Mile

Full Metal Jacket

The Professional

For Blade Runner it's worth getting the 25th or 30th anniversary DVD with all the different versions. It's a masterpiece of a movie and dark. It stands up the test of time too. It's not for everyone though.

The Green Mile is just a classic movie.

FMJ and apocalypse now are also must sees.

I haven't seen Thor but didn't think it was meant to be on the level of the others you mention.

You seriously need to get some movies ordered.

The Godfather is one of the if not the best movie of all time.

It's certainly my favorite.

FMJ is better than AN....IMO

The Bournes are awesome.

The Professional is great. Gotta see that although there are dated 90 mob guys with pony tails and uzis.

I will add City Of God(Brazilian slums and children gangs) which is a top5 all timer for me.

Children Of Men

LA Confidential

I also have never watched the Godfather all the way through. I am a movie buff and love mafia movies too so I feel I have seen every inspiration of and heard wayy to many refrences to it for me to enjoy it I think.

i feel like i have to watch Thor first... and Captain America, damn

You really don't, if you know their basic origins. Honestly I would recommend just reading the plot summaries and then watch The Avengers. It kicks so much ass.

I prefer Goodfellas, not that The Godfather isn't great, but Goodfellas is my favorite "gangster" movie.

Agreed on Thor/ Captain America.

The Avengers is several levels of awesome above those movies. I really didn't like Thor. I made it through about 45 minutes.

I could watch the Bourne trilogy back to back to back every day. I love those movies. I still haven't seen the latest addition.

The Professional is good. It got weird a few times, thoug

TGTBTU - keep the fast forward button handy. Great story.

FMJ - only the first half is worth watching IMO.

The first half of Full Metal Jacket was fantastic. The second half... meh.

Citizen Kane is just a thing of cinematic beauty. Gorgeous filmmaking.

The Green Mile is one of my favorite films. HE'S COOKIN NOW!!! (You'll appreciate it when you watch it).

    • You do realize no one wanted RyanCare/ObamaCare Lite to pass, right? If anything, the media and democrats has made themselves absolute fools lately. STILL no evidence Trump colluded with Russia whatsoever, which is quite the funny irony in this whole conspiracy. Trump inherited a mess. Hard to fix this mess when you got crybaby globalists and dems everywhere.
    • I hate this DG analogy so much.  It only makes sense in the context of an efficient market where teams are rational, have perfect information, and scouts are always right about players.  But we have ample evidence that is not the case.  Sometimes, talented players just don't work out.  Injuries derail careers.  Teams make oddball picks.  Sometimes, you are just wrong about a player (see Ealy, Kony). I like him a lot, but DG's habit of always trading up / never trading down may ultimately be his downfall in CAR.  It results in a lack of depth across the roster and it makes your roster very vulnerable to i) injuries (see 2015 vs. 2016) and ii) missing on evals.  If we missed on Funchess (jury still out), that hurts - but missing on Funchess when you traded multiple picks to get him compounds the issue. Trading up and trading down are both valid strategies - but I'd suggest balancing the two strategies would improve your chances of long-term success.
    • He is worth #8 pick. I'd like to see him next to Newton on the field.
