#2906124 Vintage Steve Smith

Posted by Machete on 23 August 2014 - 11:35 PM

The Huddle told me Smith was done, and was only a shell of his former self. Slurping Gettledick all day long.
We could have had KB + Smith this year. Actually, just think of how fuged we would be if Gettleman's BPA wasn't KB? What is KB was taken? My god.

Yea but I think it's better this way, I don't just want to put off his inevitable cap penalties next year when we will need to resign our pro-bowl caliber players. Because Smith wasn't going to retire a Panther, he would've forced our hand to cut him just like he did this year. He's like 34 and your flipping out over one preseason game dude.

#2898566 Shooting in Missouri sparks protests, looting

Posted by Machete on 19 August 2014 - 04:04 PM

It's pathetic how easily some people are convicted by their own passions, considering their is not enough evidence to pass ANY kind of judgement on the matter at all. Prime indicator to the state of mind control by the powers that be.

Gotta enjoy how Obama makes it a point to unite us as American's first and foremost. Nobody even realizes how we are manipulated by all these radical political figures. Specifically in this case the White House, the media, and certain political opportunists had developed their own narrative ("Justice") of this whole ordeal from the get-go. Insinuating that "justice" isn't determined in a court of law as defined by our constitution but is determined by a social balancing act that involves displays of aggression against police and community members. There are eye-witnesses corroborating for both sides, the cop and the kid. Does it take 3 autopsies to figure out all the forensics on a case like this?? No, they (DOJ/Holder/Obama) are dragging this out as long as they can to root seditious seeds in the American people. Trayvon all over again. Hypocrites are saying: "These protesters aren't prejudiced because they are unifying against the singular act of one officer and are hurling their anger against all the cops as 'justice' states in the imagination of their own hearts."

Those people in Ferguson are really kind sad for taking their frustrations and their anger out on members of their community when in reality they are the discriminators so far and I hope that community is mighty proud of the legacy they made for Mr. Brown's name.

Yea and none of those 3 receivers had a 1000 yard season last year so I am not that upset.

#2889143 Reparations for black descendants of the slaves

Posted by Machete on 13 August 2014 - 03:28 PM

It can come from many different areas within this nation, particularly from the wealthiest of individuals.  Most of this money shouldn't come from the middle class and down, which might happen if it solely came from the government, if this was more or less a government issued reparation.  Some of it could come from the government, a good portion from the wealthiest people in this nation, and other portions of it coming from those who want to contribute extra.  If we treated this as a national responsibility, not only would it ultimately cost very little as a country, but we all would come together and be a stronger people for it.

Sounds like radical socialism to me. Am I the only person who gets bothered by people with opinions like this??

#2857734 How Hornets matchup against Top Teams in East

Posted by Machete on 19 July 2014 - 12:34 AM

Please nobody feed this Greg Hardy AK47 troll. So obvious that he is a complete loser who considers trolling a Hornets sub-forum as good use of his entire Friday night.

Oh and anyone who is really drunk and then wastes his buzz on the Internet to talk marginal sports opinion on a Friday night is officially a social pariah.

#2828630 LeBron James Opts Out

Posted by Machete on 24 June 2014 - 09:08 AM

It doesn't surprise me that he is opting out. I believe teams will be active in free agency to land him. This could potentially set up a pretty good draft because team will try to clear cap space out to land Lebron. If i'm Jordan, why don't we try to get in the mix?

...because of that stare down dunk that LeBron gave him in the Bobcats playoff game this year.

Delhomme and Beurelein's passing stats are so similar that you really have no choice but to base your judgement upon the more prolific winner.  I really can't even understand how it's debatable if you take into account the most important quantifier of a NFL QB's proficiency, wins. Steve Beurelein could not have made Mushin Muhammed the best receiver in the NFL (stat-wise) in 2005, let alone finish a season better than 8-8...Delhomme had 10, 11, and 12 win seasons. Make sense?

#2789931 Kelvin Benjamin Overweight?

Posted by Machete on 16 May 2014 - 01:30 PM

It is not the job of a wide receiver to "groom" anyone. He's a player, that is why teams have coaches.

Not sure anybody said that it was...
