I should have worded that better.


The vet WR market is being pushed down.  That's what I meant.


Back in the day, it was really hard for a rook WR to make noise, now you are seeing it more and more.  You don't have to have that highly paid vet no. 1 to make the passing game work any longer.



I'm not saying I don't want a nasty WR, only that the huge money WR deals may start becoming fewer and fewer.  Take a look at Megatron and Fitz's deals...whew, I'm so glad we don't have that on the books.

Remember to it was a record breaking year for WRs entering the draft with their rookie contracts. Could be a supply demand issue.
