An ESPN analytic stat shows just how bad our offensive line really is.

Didn’t we draft a good one? Then why the poo do we still trot Ian Thomas to do crap like this? Watch #80 at the bottom

Comparing one future HOF LB call out plays of teams to Multiple players from multiple teams calling plays out of 1 teams is comparing apples and oranges
-
This the limited package is giving a guy who has only been a passing game coordinator in college for 1 season with Jamar Chase Joe Burrow and Justin Jefferson. We may be giving him a bit too much credit

If all the opposing team knows the play. And you come out and run the play. With no motions etc. It’s a bad play
-
This you can have prime Tom Brady with an All-pro OL and WRs if the other NFL team knows the play, knows the routes to a T. And you do no motions or anything to throw anything off. Just come out with the play they know is coming and snap it. it’s not going to work. Period, point blank
-
You still can use motion’s etc to throw things off a little. We don’t do any of that. we come out with a set play. A play that teams are saying they know is happening. And just snap it.
-
This is true. but he went on onto talk more about Brady. How all the routes are predictable. How we run little to no motions etc mixing and moving things up for the D. Said we come out and all the teams know the play we’re going to run point blank.

Al Wallace- “I don’t think he finish’s the season here.” just had him on WFNZ. Pointed out how now multiple weeks. Players from multiple teams have called out our offense and they knew the plays etc. And in the NFL, that’s a hard fireable offense. Sam has been bad. The OL has been atrocious. And I know that Brady has taken some heat. But hearing that from a Former NFL DE. That’s eye opening and bad. And honestly, just as bad as everything else that’s wrong with our offense.

Sam was terrible yesterday. But it’s the kicked dog syndrome with him. We grabbed a guy who was mentally messed up and put him behind the NFL worst OL What did we actually think would happen this season?!
-
Elfein was so bad. The team that drafted him, cut him before he even finished his rookie deal despite having a bad OL. Then went to a terrible Jets OL. And was so bad, they didn’t even attempt to resign him. we made Him a priority day 1 FA signing

The 2022 NFL Draft QB class is giving off 2013 vibes
ncfan replied to trueblade's topic in Carolina Panthers
Literally 2 of those passes just pointed to what I said just lobbing a 60 yards pas. There’s plenty of clips of Will Grier, etc doing this in college. The Louisville one was nice, and that was his best game all year. But he hasn’t been consistent making those passes all year. Arm Talent is constantly making passes like that Louisville one all the time. Not 1 or 2 every few games. To me he is Sam Darnold minus the turnovers. His 2020 season was dam near a split near image of Darnold’s. The Turnovers, decision making. The way he sets his feet (or lack of) with the slight bounce, etc. i mean literally if we’re just talking him throwing deep shots. And you just said he is better than Fields -

HS competition to NFL is laughable. and lobbing a 60 yarder isn’t necessarily “arm Strength”. there’s plenty of tape of Will Grier, even Teddy doing stuff like that. Arm Talent is being able to put it through tight windows with velocity. -

His film from last year was literally Sam Darnold 2.0. And this year he has improved his decision making cutting back turnovers. But to say his Arm talent is better than their is like saying Mac Jones is better than Herbert’s. Not even close. -

0.00% Chance he is better than Fields or Lance. Not even in the same league. Maybe Mac Jones. But that’s about it. While he has improved greatly since last year. His Junior season almost mirrors Sam Darnolds at USC He is the top guy in a Terrible QB class. Meaning some QB needy team in the top 5 will reach and grab him before us.
