  1. Russ was 195 his last year at Wisconsin Bryce is listed 190
  2. Again. Goes back to other unteachables so outside of physical measurables. just like Russ’s weight never effected him. He has it between the ears. He feels the pressure better than about any QB to come out in a long time. He reads defenses better and his pocket awareness. He knows when to get the ball out or get out of the pocket and go off script. Which outside of Mahomes, he’s the best I’ve seen.
  3. I can see is moving up. Not top 3 move up but just a few spots. 2-3 spots to get ahead of the Raiders so a Justin Herbert situation doesn’t happen again.
  4. I’m curious what’s the threshold for height before it’s not concerning for people. I’ve seen people reference “look at Baker” when voicing concern on Bryce when it comes to him. and I’ve noticed a trend, many of these same people are ones who are the “give Corral a shot. When Corral is only one inch taller with a lower release which = ball coming out the same height. And to top it off. His comp was Baker.
  5. Maybe the same way Russell Wilson held up better than those guys it goes back to unteachable tools. His pocket awareness, his ability to feel pressure helps. He isn’t a runner like Lamar or even Kyler. he is a scrambler, which is a big difference. He has the sense and the feel when pressure to scramble to avoid like we always saw Russ do. He has it between the ears like you saw with Bree’s and Russ. and to compare him to Tua. Man, you need to go back and watch the actual film of those 2 in college before throwing out that comparison.
  6. They get it. it’s also because Young is a dam good QB and has other tools outside of Height and weight that are hard to teach.
  7. The NFL is much higher on Levis than the fans. there’s a higher chance Levis goes 1 than Stroud goes top 2
  8. He’d still get a chance with another face in the room. But I wouldn’t bet my house on him being the guy. So in no way should he detter you from taking one. The same way Will Grier should’ve never deterred us from getting another QB
  9. Generally guys in that range especially QBs ceilings are backups. A lot of teams get their backup QBs in rds 3-4. he hasn’t played enough which is true. But he has limited tools compared to some and already coming from a college system which is a Huge Huge learning curb. He’s never had to read defenses, read coverages, and go through all of his reads. And that’s even getting into the injuries. Will Grier played a whole 2 games and never had this almost cult following Corral has to become a future guy. Which is nuts.
  10. He looked pretty decent in Camp and had a real nice last game. but the big thing. Drafting 16th, they’re just not in position to draft one. here we have fans saying it’d cost to move up from 9. Imagine what it’d cost from 16. Next year unless they improve. Rivera will be gone. And a whole new regime change will want to kickstart with their QB.

    DEs

Another big need that will be addressed our biggest need on defense. And in the big needs category along with QB, WR, TE. And possibly LB. im still not convinced they won’t go QB rd 1. So going to look at some guys with our 2nd pick and beyond. this one is a little tricky for me scouting wise. Because there is a good amount of talent in this class. But weeding through, a bulk of them are more “edge rushers” and less DEs (Andre Carter is one of them, good player but is a standup edge Lb). Meaning a lot of standup rushers or smaller weak side guys. So finding one that fits us as a SDE on the other side of Burns will be slightly more difficult. one guy I’m really falling for and is rising up the board is Lukas Van Ness. He been starting to mock him in rd 2 us more and more. Dude is Raw, but has tools you gets excited for and a even better Motor. He’s a bigger body so fits well for us opposite of Burns. He’s played inside and out. https://thedraftnetwork.com/sr-prospect/lukas-van-ness-9095ead9-8ac1-4aac-98cc-b805c4b81a48/ https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Lukas-VanNess-DL-Iowa if anyone else has some favorites. drop them in here.
  12. Really hope we can develop him into a valuable backup. Unlike Will Grier. it’s crazy to see people really banking on the idea of him being the franchise guy though. him developing into a solid backup isn’t a bad thing though. Teams today have been having to use backups when it’s crucial. Eagles win a Super Bowl because they had a solid backup and win you a handful of games when needed. This year. SF, Baltimore, Buffalo, Tennessee, Philly, Dallas, Dolphins, just to name a few. BTW this is from Joe Person this morning

    WRs

I’ve not seen a single person say Jaxson Smith is a mid rd. More mid 1st rd. anything can happen. But no way that guy decides to come back. He literally said he skipped the college football playoffs to get healthy for the draft.

Zay Flowers is the one I feel I really want if we get Johnson. Feel he will be able to get him the ball. And can use him like St Brown in the slot.

    WRs

Agreed honestly. to me he is the Will Levi’s of WRs. tremendous tools and upside. But still pretty raw. Not the greatest route runner. Most of his stuff is them moving him around and just getting him the ball.
  16. But if they don’t think any of the QBs are worth the pick outside the guys going in the top 2 every year. And never want to trade up. At some point you need to start looking at your scouts. Because if that’s how’s it’s going to be you’re never going to fix the QB which just so happens to be the most important position in all of sports.
  17. They said that the last 3 years (reports 2 years ago said they only liked Lawerence and Wilson) if you don’t like any of the guy over 3 seasons that they like enough to take and saddle up to develop as your franchise guy. Then maybe your standards are to high. you can’t sit around and say your never going to ask a girl out unless she’s miss America. Or your going to be staying single your whole entire life. You’re not going to be the 2 worst teams next year. So you’re not going to get Maye or Williams. So then what, stay in the hampster wheel and say maybe 2025? ”oh but maybe they can trade up.” well if those guys are really that special. Teams aren’t budging and taking the QB. You don’t think teams weren’t offering the world for Lawrence? I know they were for the Jets for Wilson. But the Jets traded Sam Darnold still on his rookie deal instead and took the cant Miss QB.
  18. Actually he did mention them targeting Carr if cut.
  19. Will Kunkle who covers the Panthers just said on WFNZ “I don’t think the Panthers draft a QB” “They don’t like any of the QBs that are expected to be available. And do not want to move up for one of these guys.”

Jarrett also was a composite 5* coming out of HS https://247sports.com/Player/Rakim-Jarrett-46039172/high-school-190305/ Diggs best season in college he has 848 yards and 6 TDs Jarretts was 829 yards and 5 TDs

    WRs

Thing is. how many WRs do you hunk go rd1? He could still easily end up being WR5 in this class even running that. it is possible for him to fall out of rd q just because not that many teams will be taking WRs rd 1

    WRs

Talking about Slot there is a guy who may be around rd4-5 who I’d love another Maryland prospect who his scouting report and every reminds me a lot of Diggs when he came out. Diggs https://www.nfl.com/prospects/stefon-diggs/32004449-4721-8895-fc23-d2bf4c921bd4 Rakim Jarrett https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Rakim-Jarrett-WR-Maryland

    WRs

And that has been evident a lot this season. if a team shut down DJ. They shut down our passing attack. Our WRs struggled to get open or separation. And not even a threat. in this era of football, you need at-least 2 good WRs. Look what the difference it has made in Philly to add another big Key WR this offseason in AJ Brown to pair with Devonte Smith.
