  1. Mike McCarthy is getting fired for this
  2. Missed on probably one of the best QBs in the NFL. If he isn’t in a deep dark place, that means he doesn’t really care. And we know he does. He has to be depressed.
  3. David Tepper might be borderline suicidal right now watching Stroud play well in the playoffs against one of the best defenses in the NFL.
  4. That’s why I say…the only way the Panthers could sway Harbaugh would be with $$$ the Chargers might not be willing to dish out.
  5. I didn’t think David Newton had enough balls or brain cells to make a comment like this
  6. Harbaugh to the Chargers is a match. It’s honestly the best situation for an established coach like him looking to make an impact quickly. Harbaugh took a talented but underachieving 49ers roster and made them a Super Bowl contender in literally one offseason. Meanwhile the Raiders should view the Panthers as a cautionary tale when considering passing over a successful interim coach, as well as themselves a few years back even making the playoffs with an interim head coach. You’d think they’ve learned their lesson. I can’t imagine Harbaugh is genuinely interested in the Panthers job with so many other more appealing openings available. Aside from the fact that David “there’s no salary cap for coaches” Tepper might pay him an insane and fully guaranteed contract.
  7. 100%. The Texas game showed how Bryce handles the level of pressure he’d face in the NFL. He looks exactly the same every game in the pros as he did in that Texas game. I was saying this long before the Panthers drafted him. Meanwhile, all Stroud did was deliver an almost flawless performance all season, and stepped up in the biggest game of his career against a tough Georgia defense. You want a player who plays the best in the biggest moments. We don’t know what conversations really happened behind the scenes. But I don’t believe the Panthers PR release that entire organization was behind drafting Bryce Young. I had a feeling that if Bryce (expectedly) looked like sh*t, there would be coaches fired. And lo and behind, the most likely Bryce detractors were fired mid season. I think Frank Reich was doomed the moment they selected Young. He probably didn’t want him and was too old and stubborn to change his scheme to make an offense to hide Bryce’s many limitations and flaws. But back to the original point, all of Bryce’s issues were right there on his game tape, but David Tepper and his wife didn’t seem to notice or care.
  8. https://www.nfl.com/videos/jake-browning-s-top-plays-2023-season If you really wanna be depressed, compare the “top plays” from the Bengals undrafted backup QB. I can’t say Bryce is better in any way than Jake Browning.
  9. His “top” plays are plays good QBs make every game. You don’t end up 2-15 because you had a good QB. He was a rookie, and the offense and scheme were crap. I get it. But the Panthers offense wasn’t just bad, it was non-functional.
  10. This team needs a good smart young coach to grow with the team. Tepper needs to go away and just be patient. This team is such a mess it’s going to take many years to fix. Hire the right guy and let him get to work and figure it out. These old guys won’t be here long enough to see the fix through to the end.
  11. Reich probably said some sh*t about Bryce not being the QB he wanted same with McCown and Duce Staley
  12. Slowik is my choice too after investigating all the candidates
  13. Dumb question but who is interviewing these coaches? Is it Tepper and Dan Morgan?
  14. Every opening is better than the Panthers. Most of the other openings have a better roster and you aren’t married to the QB. The Chargers are the exception there.
  15. It's 2023 by a long shot for several reasons. The highly picked QB and coaching staff were brand new and were a colossal failure so because of the bleak future and no first overall pick to show for the miserable season, 2023 takes the sh*t cake.
  16. I’m fairly certain Vrabel to NE is already a done deal. You don’t let a guy like Belichick leave without a solid plan behind him. And a guy like Vrabel will have options. I’d like the Panthers to interview him (maybe you end up with Vrabel and Arthur Smith getting the band back together somewhere) but I don’t see it happening on the Panthers. My wildcard is Vrabel going to the Chargers.
  17. They should tag him if they’ve got a trade partner lined up. Otherwise unless he will sign for a team friendly deal, it’s better to let him walk. This team needs 5 nickels to be competitive next year instead of 1 quarter.
  18. 100% behind Xavier Worthy if he falls to 33. NFL comp is Devonta Smith. Worthy will be a legit NFL receiver for sure.
  19. If Vrabel doesn’t already have a job in NE lined up like I think he does, I really hope he interviews with the Panthers. Proven good coach who can make a winner out of a flawed roster.
  20. Reports saying Vrabel wanted out of Ten makes me think he had it lined up beforehand
  21. Vrabel is going to NE. It’s all been assembled behind the scenes months ago.
