Carolina Going to the Super Bowl This Season
hepcat replied to chknwing's topic in Carolina Panthers
If you are loose with “this year” and “going” then sure -
Rodgers isn’t going to last a full season as the Steelers QB. I bet this is his last season.

I agree with this. Florida is going to be tough to beat. But they can’t keep that group together much longer so the hurricanes window might open a little wider. My problem is the series should have looked the way it did in games 4 and 5. From the second period of game 1 thru 3 were an abysmal effort and the players just looked defeated. I was very disappointed in the overall effort until games 4 and 5. I think it’s very fair to ask if Rod is the right man for the job right now. If they’d gotten swept again and they lost game 4 like 5-0, id say he might need to go. But I think the team bounced back enough to give him another year with the front office going all in to bolster the roster. Failure to reach the finals with a full push to build the roster to win now, Rod goes next offseason, and the team focuses on retooling around their younger players.

They tried. Not a good enough team to beat Florida. They are bigger faster and more talented. The effort wasn’t there for the whole series and that’s on Rod
-
I threw down $100 on the Florida money line after they scored their first goal
-
Now here comes the worst power play you’re ever seen in your life and probably giving up a short handed goal. These guys are done cooked good bye canes see yall next season
-
Final score gonna be like 6-2 god damn it
-
The face offs are huge
-
Brindamour told them to hit these dirty assholes and it’s working. This needed to be done in game 1
-
Rod is 1-11 in the championship round. He needs to win in front of the home crowd tonight to show he’s the right man for the job. Those first three games against Florida were fireable offenses
-
If they can at least get a win in Raleigh it will feel a lot better going into the offseason. Another blowout loss was going to (hopefully) cost Brindamour his job. If they can claw back and make it a 6 or 7 game series that shows that Brindamour hasn’t lost his touch and can still rally the players. They looked absolutely lost in games 1-3 and I was ready for him to go
-
lol totally worth not watching this trash. No way this comes back to Raleigh
-
This show with Jon hamm on appletv is pretty good, started with a murder haha
-
3 is worse than 2, they have the tools to make your life hell side note im watching some dumb appletv show with my wife instead now. They are losing this game 100% and I highly doubt they score another goal in the series. Time for brindamour to go
-
For two of these games my 3 year old skipped his nap and I got him down before 8, didn’t do any good watching the garbage games though
-
doesn't look like it. these guys are not scoring another goal in this series. embarassing
-
yup, a major penalty, what a gift. they aren't going to score a single goal and we know they don't have a chance in hell to win this series if they can't score a single goal in 5 minutes of 4 on 5 hockey. absolutely embarassing and i'm shutting it off if they can't score on this powerplay
-
These guys are dirty as f*ck. If they don't score on this powerplay they are total dogshit
-
the worst thing that can happen is they start off looking strong and putting in a good effort, kinda like game 1, and they give up a bullshit goal and the wheels come off. i'm expecting that to happen soon
-
they might actually keep the game close if they can put one in the net early. bobs is off tonight, probably feeling the fatigue finally. they've played a lot of games consecutively. if the canes can't make it happen tonight they don't deserve to be here
-
bobrovsky looks off tonight. already let some rebounds bounce around.
-
wouldn't be surprised to see it happen. andersen was not the reason they were getting pummelled in game 1 or 2 but they benched him anyway. scapegoat
-
it's florida of course he is
-
I feel like we might have seen Freddie Andersen's last game as a Hurricane.
-
And he's stubborn. Playing Morrow yet again despite him struggling mightily is just inexcusable.
