  1. He’s definitely worth interviewing especially after getting a career season out of Baker Mayfield but let’s also not forget that he has Mike Evans who is going to be a first ballot HOFer and Chris Godwin who isn’t a slouch. The Tampa offense also had the benefit of learning the TB12 method for 3 years. Canales is an interesting candidate but the Panthers need someone who can build the offense up from nothing. Bobby Slowik or Ben Johnson seem to fit that bill better.
  2. We may never truly know whose decision it really was but I think the fact Fitterer lasted as long as he did despite terrible roster construction shows maybe Tepper did understand he did not set him up for success
  3. The Bryce Young trade could potentially be the worst trade in the history of the NFL if Bryce is a bust for what they gave up to get him. His list of failures is long and touches every part of being a GM. I won’t go into all of them but one of his worst decisions is the trade he didn’t make with Brian Burns to the Rams for 1sts and a 2nd round pick. What a dunce. The Panthers had a horrendous record during his tenure. Anyone else think history will not be kind to Mr Fitterer?
  4. If you have a guy like Wilks develop your roster for a couple seasons it can turn around fast once you replace him with someone better. The roster the Panthers have is atrocious. Thank god Scott Fitterer is gone, the worst GM in NFL history.
  5. They royally f*cked up trading up to pick Bryce. It was a huge gamble and they lost in every way possible. They aren’t going to be able to sell Bryce as a positive. His tape is garbage. They should be open to finding his replacement ASAP with any candidate and that might help attract a better candidate.
  6. You have to have a leader of men if your roster sucks. That’s where the Panthers are.
  7. Pretty accurate but only going back like 30 years.
  8. I feel like it doesn’t matter who the head coach is, the team is fundamentally broken at so many levels. The owner is a football retard and the vibe in the building is probably so miserable that it won’t matter if Jesus Christ himself coached this team and had the players walking on water during practice. It’s that bad.
  9. Leave this man alone!!! That is one of the greatest panther players of all time. He knows this team is f*cking trash now let him take a nap.
  10. Plenty of people on this board are crying because the panthers are now the new lions
  11. Missed on probably one of the best QBs in the NFL. If he isn’t in a deep dark place, that means he doesn’t really care. And we know he does. He has to be depressed.
  12. David Tepper might be borderline suicidal right now watching Stroud play well in the playoffs against one of the best defenses in the NFL.
  13. That’s why I say…the only way the Panthers could sway Harbaugh would be with $$$ the Chargers might not be willing to dish out.
  14. I didn’t think David Newton had enough balls or brain cells to make a comment like this
  15. Harbaugh to the Chargers is a match. It’s honestly the best situation for an established coach like him looking to make an impact quickly. Harbaugh took a talented but underachieving 49ers roster and made them a Super Bowl contender in literally one offseason. Meanwhile the Raiders should view the Panthers as a cautionary tale when considering passing over a successful interim coach, as well as themselves a few years back even making the playoffs with an interim head coach. You’d think they’ve learned their lesson. I can’t imagine Harbaugh is genuinely interested in the Panthers job with so many other more appealing openings available. Aside from the fact that David “there’s no salary cap for coaches” Tepper might pay him an insane and fully guaranteed contract.
  16. 100%. The Texas game showed how Bryce handles the level of pressure he’d face in the NFL. He looks exactly the same every game in the pros as he did in that Texas game. I was saying this long before the Panthers drafted him. Meanwhile, all Stroud did was deliver an almost flawless performance all season, and stepped up in the biggest game of his career against a tough Georgia defense. You want a player who plays the best in the biggest moments. We don’t know what conversations really happened behind the scenes. But I don’t believe the Panthers PR release that entire organization was behind drafting Bryce Young. I had a feeling that if Bryce (expectedly) looked like sh*t, there would be coaches fired. And lo and behind, the most likely Bryce detractors were fired mid season. I think Frank Reich was doomed the moment they selected Young. He probably didn’t want him and was too old and stubborn to change his scheme to make an offense to hide Bryce’s many limitations and flaws. But back to the original point, all of Bryce’s issues were right there on his game tape, but David Tepper and his wife didn’t seem to notice or care.
  17. https://www.nfl.com/videos/jake-browning-s-top-plays-2023-season If you really wanna be depressed, compare the “top plays” from the Bengals undrafted backup QB. I can’t say Bryce is better in any way than Jake Browning.
  18. His “top” plays are plays good QBs make every game. You don’t end up 2-15 because you had a good QB. He was a rookie, and the offense and scheme were crap. I get it. But the Panthers offense wasn’t just bad, it was non-functional.
  19. This team needs a good smart young coach to grow with the team. Tepper needs to go away and just be patient. This team is such a mess it’s going to take many years to fix. Hire the right guy and let him get to work and figure it out. These old guys won’t be here long enough to see the fix through to the end.
  20. Reich probably said some sh*t about Bryce not being the QB he wanted same with McCown and Duce Staley
