I remember a funny story about him. Shinn fired him, but not in person...think he had the GM do it. Well Shinn and Paul lived in the same neighborhood, and that night, Paul knocked on Shinn's door. He refused to answer. And he was there. lol

saw something similar on twitter a couple of days ago... first game of the season, rookie LT going against Myles Garret, former first overall pick, gave up 2 sacks. second game of the season, gave up 1 sack. And that was it. Nothing since then. The whole time his run blocking has been what was expected, and that was excellent. Maybe it was our OL coach, maybe he just needed a couple of games to get the feel of the NFL, but either way, yes, we found a stud left tackle. After all these years, we got one.

so what's the story with him? before the season, he was a hot name, but seems like I remember him not doing well early and was falling down draft boards, but he got better through the season?

amazing string of injuries to start the season...not sure I've seen it this bad for the Hornets. builds depth though.

I know Denver is bad this year, but what a job Wilks has done with our defense. He may not get a job as HC next year but he'll at least have multiple offers for DC

been a long time since Sam lined up...he probably knows it's over for him...maybe that will relax him and he can just go out and have fun with no pressure.

give Darnold another shot...I don't think Baker has reached the point yet that affects our trade with Cleveland (think it's a 5th unless he plays 70% of our snaps, or something like that, then it becomes a 4th.)

We are paying Moton, Icky and Brady are on rookie contracts, Corbett is back for 2 more years....pay Boze for a few more years and we have a dadgum good Oline locked up for the next few years. Boze locked up means that is one less position we need to hit high on in the next couple of drafts. It's an almost perfect situtation unless he gets offered huge money, and he might.

agree with all except Miles...let the ship sail. First pick is going to be a 7'2'' guy who is getting all the hype...will be 19, but pairing him with Melo could change the franchise, especially with our youngs getting some pt this year. But unless we pick first, we won't get him.

love this guy....finally got a shut down corner and he looks like a great guy as well. Love his optimism and drive in a season like this one. Here's to 10 to 12 more years with Jaycee as a Panther.

McShay says he is 5'10'' and recently weighed 186. But at the combine, it is possible he is 5'9''...won't be an easy choice, but if he's there and our new staff says take him, I won't say a word...everyone knows his size is a concern, and everyone knows you ain't winning till you get a QB.

for those who like Grayson, the game tonight is on ESPN at 7:30. App lost 2 safeties and a CB from last year....and App has trouble with mobile QBs. Should be an interesting watch.
