  1. Lovely sentiment. Yeah that's the tough thing, knowing it's not my place to publicly shout for myself as you put it. This forum was a spot I felt I could at least say it. Never felt comfortable letting people in my life outside of those close know (they only find out secondhand). It's something that just sucks and I totally hear you about people seeing it at it's scariest.
  2. Alright, my mood is just sooooo amazing today. I was going to keep it private but need a place to shout it to the rooftops (bc I wouldn't dare on IG for attention or whatnot)...but what the hell, I'll drop my Sax Man spiel for a minute: I got 6 important biopsy results back and am nearly 3 years cancer free! Been a ridiculous past 2.5 years in this respect, but avoided chemo, recovered from surgery, and had a super important follow up that these results came from. So I am in the best possible mood this week. And still tearing it up at work do the architect thang and all. Cheers. LET'S GO GET WATSON!!
  3. Right?! Not to mention their recent trend of picking unexpected players in R1 in recent years. My only concern is Arthur Smith actually knows what he's doing so we can hope!
  4. I mean, put yourself in Tep-Fit-Rhule's shoes. If you've got a guy in house who is buds and can easily communicate with the man in charge of the team who's QB you want, I'd like to think they'll utilize that resource. Steve: "Yo J, how's it going this week?" Easterguy: "Steven, fantastic, the lord is truly blessed" Steve: "That's awesome J. He is indeed. Okay, now I've got my friend Scotty Fit here as well he has a question" Fit: "Hi easterbunny, pleasure to meet you. So how about you give us Watson for just 3 firsts, Donte Jackson & Shaq Thompson?" Easterguy: "I don't know man, we really need some more help. How about one of those young studs on defense like Burns, Chinn, or Brown?" Fit: "They're all super atheist, so how about we just add on a 3rd?" Easters: "Done!"
  5. That's what I'm alluding to in my over enthusiastic fashion. He may just be a in one dept. but if he and the evangelical comedian manager guy in H-town are really tight, that could make them feel more comfortable to discuss this with us. Doesn't mean we get Watson but maybs it helps.
  6. But his external affairs are quite external to our affairs.
  7. The frame threads the piers to the decking. He may have the head the arm and the legs, but you need that frame beefed up to really support the structure of it all. Needs some of that broad shoulder juice.

  9. VP of Communications & External Affairs. Ohhh yeahhhhh
  10. Wonder what we’re looking for in return? I’d take a 5th lol
  11. They were willing to trade something for him? Oh man, he has trade value! Hot damn.
  12. Totally is. There’s always the crowd that does the topic bashing but this should be a fun offseason regardless.
  13. It should be noted that Steve Drummond’s Twitter avatar is a cartoon portrait. If that doesn’t tell you we’re getting Watson, I don’t know what will.
  14. There was a game where we were playing that 7th rounder Thomas-Oliver where the commentators kept accidentally calling him Pride. And STO had a baaad game. Pride played pretty sticky and had some good breakups.
  15. Bow chic a bow wow https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/nfl-insider-notes-expect-another-wave-of-big-name-trades-and-not-just-qbs-plus-deshaun-watson-clues-and-more/
  16. So my question: Are you endorsing Trey Lance?
