  3. Whats good, all?! You all have made some awesome progress. I finally hit a goal of mine, a 300lb Bent over row with minimal lower body movement. Kind of weird goal, but I believe back strength is paramount. Also Trying to hit a 225 ****** grip, behind the neck press (klokov press). weird goals FTW.

  5. I explained to DB that I was on borrowed time and I didnt have time to pull more since my command was basically yelling for me to get back to work. I had at least 440 in me.
  6. probably an RC issue. When I broke my collarbone I had massive RC issues because of it healing wonky.
  7. Thats amazing! My 415 was easy, but due to being on borrowed time I wasnt able to go higher. I feel like ive got 440- 445 in the tank.
  8. Whats up all? Its been stupid at work so my posting has gone down the drain. I was able to compete in a camp wide powerlifting comp. this past week. I competed in the 191-202 class at 195 There was some stiff competition to say the least. My number were: Back squat- 445 Bench- 325 Deadlift- 415 total-1185 : #1 in my class!!! there some great benchers here, but no one really squats. I think thats what enabled me to take #1. woooooooooooo

  10. Two questions: 1. I cant tell because of the angle, but where are you hitting on your hips when youre hip driving into the second part of the ******? My mid thigh is where I tend to bump, but you seem to be hitting on your pelvis/ pubic bone area. 2. What kind of Olympic lifting shoes are those?
  11. I finally smashed my goal of 320 paused on bench! And hitting 20 BW pullups at 198 doesnt hurt either.

  16. Haha ranger workout DVDs? I know what I'm doing when it comes to the actual training, but it's the planning I'm having trouble with. It's more of a "hey, you need to get your ass trainin for SOF" "BUT I DONT WANNA. I wanna lift heavy sh!t" lol thanks for the ideas thoug. I have a sgt of mid who is level two combatives trained, I'm sure he'll put me through the ringer.
  17. Kind of a quick question to all my friends who have coaching/more experience than me. I love to powerlift (obviously) I have a dilemma. I want to compete, so I train and eat. BOOM weight gain and strength goes through the roof. But heres where my question comes into play, I have been aiming for a SOF career for a couple years now. Obviously, Huge weight gain and endurance dont mix. If you focus on one, the other will suffer. I am having a tough time writing a training plan that will properly allow myself to reach my strength goals as well as reach my Cal/ Running/ rucking goals. Im thinking that along with my periodization im going to need to just break up my training into two phases (1. Get freakin strong 2. get freakin fast) But I dont want to lose a good base for either. Ideas? tips? Something?
  18. Army living is killing my gainz. No, but for real though, This little food, little sleep crap is murdering my months of hard work. Damn you deprevation. But on the bright side Ive reached my goal weight of 188 (the weight I will be competing at).
