Albert Breer: Panthers WR’s possibilities for Chiefs
*FreeFua* replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
So if it’s known he isn’t staying you’d rather lose him for nothing than gain a 4th? Not quite sure what losing him for nothing gains us -

https://x.com/adamschefter/status/1841216505825857679?s=46&t=W75E23VenL1ei42iX22E5g Raiders are hoping to get a 2nd for Adams and we have people thinking we’d get a 1 or 2 for Johnson LOL -

So you keep him and lose him for nothing (if those reports are true) instead of taking a 4th? -

I mean there’s always the comp pick route but given the holes on this team I doubt we’ll end up qualifying for any of those after Fa -

He is a rental. Which team in their right mind is offering up a 1 or 2 for rentals these days? Id be shocked if we got a 3rd -

Ok so instead lose him for nothing? This fan base has a weird emotional attachment to players. I assume you were happy losing Luvu for nothing this past offseason then? -

The Panthers should be selling off all expiring contracts The same crap I’ve been saying for years. Said we should’ve traded Luvu last year but instead he walked and we got nothing We’re not winning this year and Schefter reported earlier that Johnson isn’t coming back here so he needs to be traded. I’d imagine a 4th rounder. Gone are the days where teams are giving up 2’s for rentals -
His combine weight… man come on. Have you never added a ton of water weight overnight? I’ve done as much as 14lbs Everyone knew that 205 at the combine was a load of sh!t. It wasn’t a true number. His only focus at the combine was to be as heavy as possible since he wasn’t throwing or doing anything else.

We knew this going into the season. I don’t get what the fuss is about We went all in on the OL to help our QB. I said elsewhere, if not a QB I’m going LT or WR in the 1st round in 2025. McMillan/Burden Banks/Campbell

Sam and to a degree Baker (not as physically gifted as Sam) have the physical tools to be successful. Baker has an arm and the willingness to push the ball downfield A good OC can work with that. Bryce doesn’t have the physical tools to be successful at this level. It couldn’t be anymore clear. There’s literally not one thing Bryce has or does well that would appeal to any good OC. Which is why a 4th rounder was our best offer. The league has seen enough

Given our cap issues and knowing our defense was going to be bad this year this isn’t the type of contract they should’ve given to a player like Jewell imo -

I agree We’re obviously going to cut Sanders this offseason and if they flip that money over to Chuba then smh I like Chuba. He’s improved so much and typically those are the guys you invest in but we just drafted a RB in the 2nd round. Chuba typically picks up what the OL gives him. He’s got some speed to turn the corner but he isn’t making anyone miss in the open field. You better be able to replace a guy like that in the draft -
It’s a shame he didn’t hit Coker on that deep one down the right side Coker did everything right. Got on top of his defender and gave Andy a big window to drop that one in

The Shaq one sucks that Jewell contract is right up there with Tuttle for things they absolutely did not need to do. Pay for a JAG -
I want Nussmeier I was just pointing out the fact that it was a strength of his
-
Moving forward any discussion talking about future QB’s for us will have to only include guys that excel at the deep ball That’s Jalen Milroe’s strength fwiw
-
I don’t think so I watched a bit of Denver and Tampa last week and Nix was getting the ball out super quick. That’s not a strength of Young’s either
-
6 deep passes Canales said during his post game presser that running the ball and taking shots downfield is how he dreamt this things up Moving forward Morgan is going to have to go out and get a QB who wants to push the ball downfield. Todays chart gives you a pretty good indication of what Canales wants to do. With that said, I truly don’t see the point in keeping Bryce around. If you believe in what Canales is doing then you might as well trade Bryce
