Trading Thielen would be a lot easier to do if Legette wasn’t legit ass. Trade Thielen then Coker misses a few weeks with another minor injury and then what? I’m all for saving cap during years we aren’t planning on contending (this year) but this is a pivotal year for Bryce and I’d hate to see him lose Thielen for a 4th A 3rd I’d take in a heartbeat. A 4th meh. A 5th no

Apparently discussing a day 3 pick i don’t agree with reading Thielen considering our WR room is a massive question mark BUT we’ll save 8 million by doing so and we just decided to pay Moton so we could benefit to save some cap elsewhere. Plus we aren’t winning the SB this year

Landing Parsons would require multiple 1st rounders. Under no circumstance should this franchise think for one second that we should trade a single 1st rounder given where we’re at right now

Yeah so unless Brycen is dealing with an injury they didn’t mention he’s made the team or possibly being traded TMac, Coker, Thielen, Xavier, Tremayne Horn, Renfrow and Moore on outside battling for last 2? Maybe 1 spot? I really hope they don’t trade Thielen. This WR room is still a massive question mark. So to trade Young’s most reliable target going into a crucial year 3… I don’t like it

Would be curious to know why TMac flattened out his route like that. Bryce threw it to where he thought TMac was going This miscommunication and the one last week in the end zone where TMac didn’t get his head around fast enough is why these guys should’ve got more reps during the preseason

Jared Allen was closing out his career and was coming off of a season prior with 5.5 sacks. Guy didn’t have much if anything left in the tank Trey has had 17.5 in each of the last two seasons

They legitimately tried for DK. They offered their 3rd but didn’t want to part with their 2nd I think that’s how this Trey deal plays out too. Dans been interested in Trey all off season. our pass rush is non existent and Pat Jones was never a solution he’s the definition of a JAG. You can’t be fully dependant on two rookies and Scourton has missed a lot of time and Princely is a 3rd rounder Dan and Tills were comfortable paying DK Metcalf what they weren’t comfortable with was parting with their 2nd rounder for him. Maybe they’re comfortable sending their 2nd for Trey idk but they were comfortable handing out a big deal this offseason. They obviously wanted Milton but missed so Trey is the one that always made most sense given our need

We’ve seen this too many times to just say “oh well it’s preseason” When Frank was here it was “he’s keeping everything vanilla because it’s preseason”. Turned out to be our actual offense Last year Canales gave the starters 1 series and we proceeded to crap the bed the first two games of the year Assuming Dave doesn’t play the starters next week we had 1 out of 4 drives not end in a 3 and out. Legette had no idea where he was supposed to line up on that first play. Legette should’ve been out there a lot longer than he was today. At this point it’s not really an overreaction based on our recent history

Kinda starting to worry about Coker’s ability to stay healthy last year it was a quad during practice I believe then he had a set back during his return to play protocol crap they do and he’s already dealing with something now

Ramsey has always been one of my favorite players in the league but I’m not sure he should be a priority for us right now. I’m sure Evero would love to have him and he’d line him up everywhere. Nickel/Safety and outside and would provide a lot of flexibility for Evero but my worry is still our pass rush. I’m not depending on 2 rookie edge rushers and Wonnum and Pat Jones. If the Panthers are to make a big move still I’d prefer it be for Hendrickson. Ramsey would be a great addition if we had a pass rush but we don’t

Im excited for this season. I’m excited to see what Bryce does. He showed real flashes of being a franchise QB those last 10 games or whatever. We got a real young team with lots of question marks still. Especially at OLB and I expect our defense to still be a big issue But hopefully we see some growth/promise from the young guys. If Bryce doesn’t build off of his finish to the 2024 season then no biggie it should be quite the draft class for QB needy teams
