Now I disagree.. I think they knew the Oline was a major problem and knew this would be a result earlier if he got hit like this consistently in the preseason.. I think that they were praying for a healthy CMC covering for the Oline and gelling together with more reps and time would make them better.... They said early they Hopefully be treating Sam like a rookie and he could game manager for most of the season... Cmac injury, Oline horribleness and now WR dropping everything threw that out the window...

I don't think they trust the Oline to consistently block for anything more then a 3 dropbacks routes... And now the WR can't catch 3 dropbacks routes.. so I don't know where you go from there??

Your opinion... 3 weeks ago you weren't posting how dumb a move it was... I love how ppl come in halfway thru (still not even done with the process) and call a move dumb after the fact... Facts are Young top 5 talented player by most Scouts opinion was a available for low compensation... Qb going to a different team and having success isn't a weird or outbound theory and has worked in the past for lesser talented players... The team tried other options it didn't worked out.. They took a swing for bigger rewards with low risk.. In the position they were put in it wasn't a bad 4th option by most analysts opinion.. 10 games left we are still in the experimental phase.. Its still to early.. 7 games into a 17 games season is to early to make a final judgment...

He didn't fail because he didn't have talent.. He failed because he likes buffets to much and didn't work on being a good football player... Different story for Sam... Sam works hard he has talent he just not good... But it's not a bad move to find that out... The risk reward factor that we thought in the offseason is still the same... Just because the results didn't work doesn't make it a crazy or horrible decision... You can have revisionist history now and act like you was always against the move.. I said a All pro LT wouldn't fix the fact that the center of the Oline gets shredded by every no name DT 1 on 1.. Can't run block consistently and gets beat by every Dline stunt known to man.... If you're going to repeat what I said make it correct... You keep screaming Slater, Slater, Slater, but (If you actually watch the games and understand football) you would be screaming why not draft the best Center and guard in this draft.. That might have made the offense better...
