  1. So last night, while I was watching all of the Football Life(in honor of black history month) episodes, the NFL update kept popping in. Arizona is trying to find a way to keep Fitz. I'm sure with all of the restructuring that will be involved, that Ginn will likely be a casualty. I could easily see a return to Carolina.
  2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers ‏@TBBuccaneers 25m25 minutes ago The #Bucs have released QB Josh McCown. Jonathan Jones ‏@jjones9 21m21 minutes ago Bucs have released QB Josh McCown. Methinks it's Jameis' spot to lose.
  3. He dropped 3 passes while with us. I think they're amplified in people's minds, because at least 2 of them would have been for TD's.
  4. Panthers in desperate need of KR/PR. Ted Ginn = elite KR/PR man. I call that an answer. Can't act like this was a breakup in the first place. There was no animosity between him and the Panthers. He was on a 1 year deal, we had to move him up the depth chart due to injury, he stepped in a did a good job, and his value increased. Arizona offered him more than he's worth, even if he would have put up 500+ yards and 5 TD's with them, and then they didn't even use him for anything but KR/PR, which makes the deal look even worse. Dave is not dumb enough to make a deal like that. Now he's probably a cap casualty, and can likely be had for vet min, which is what he's worth.
  5. Let's compare him to Devin Hester. That should be considered top of the league. I'll do career totals, also take into consideration that Hester has 1 more year in the league than Ginn, and his punt return skills are unmatched by any current player. Kick Returns: Hester: 267 returns - 6,632 yards - 24.8 avg. - 5 TD - 170, 20+ - 24, 40+ Ginn: 281 returns - 6,443 yards - 22.9 avg. - 3 TD - 176, 20+ - 12, 40+ Punt Returns: Hester: 282 returns - 3,481 yards - 12.3 avg. - 14 TD - 59, 20+ - 21, 40+ Ginn: 182 returns - 2,018 yards - 11.1 avg. - 4 TD - 26, 20+ - 9, 40+
  6. I was 99% sure you were joking, but with the absence of tone and expression on the internet, I thought it wise to cover the 1%
  7. When he was with us he had 25 kick returns for 595 yards, avg. 23.8 yards per, 15 of 20+ yards, and 0 of 40+ yards. 26 punt returns for 316 yards, avg. 12.2 yards per, 5 of 20+ yards, and one of 40+ yards. None taken to the house that year, but those numbers are damn good considering the number of returns. Compare to Bersin? 7 kick returns for 167 yards, avg. 23.9 yards per, 5 of 20+ yards, and 1 of 40+ yards(that's why is avg is higher, not many returns but broke a big one off). 14 punt returns for 86 yards, avg. 6.1 yards per, 0 of 20+, and 0 of 40+. Obviously none taken to the house, and those numbers suck ass.
  8. I'm not saying "raise some eyebrows" in the negative sense. Wrong use of the term, on my part.
  9. Just messing with ya brother. Feel free to return fire. Lord knows what can be done with my name...
  10. So you wouldn't want him, at the dollar store rate, as a returner/WR 4-5? FWIW, he dropped 3 passes that year. 68 targets, 36 receptions, 556 yards, 5 TD's, drop rate of 4.4%. Fits said role very well, if you ask me.
  11. That's the main thing, and why I don't see him returning. I just don't feel like he'd play for less. He doesn't come across as that type at all. He's in it for the big money. I'd be interested in how he performs when he gets his big contract. Not sure I want that test performed here though
  12. Did you see the poll? It's a pretty overwhelming "yes." That's from fans perspective. The overwhelming support for his return could raise some eyebrows. http://blackandbluereview.com/poll-greg-hardy/
  13. People shouldn't worry about this being our "FA splash," because it wouldn't be. Ginn isn't a Target acquisition, he's Dollar Gentral guy that got overpaid. If he comes back, it will be on the Dollar store pay scale. That shouldn't disappoint anyone. He's a good returner, that is serviceable as a #4-5 receiver, and is a threat when he has the ball(or when he's on the field for that matter). His speed has to be respected. DG knows what he's worth, and knows the role he would serve, so it's hard to imagine they stop there... if he's brought back. Plus, I always loved to holler, "one mo' Ginn, one mo' Ginn!" every time he had the ball in his hands. Got pretty popular in 531 while he was here. I started hearing quite a few other people yell it when he was back for returns.
  14. I must be a black guy in a white man's body, if that's the black man's kryptonite... I guess the difference is, there's no "especially" with me. I'm not sure I have a preferred skin color. If they're built the same, just lemme at em! Although, just from my experience, white girls will do more "freaky" poo.
  15. It is excessive, but it had to be done for the sake of Berts everywhere.
  16. Well, she been messing around with Nelly before Hardy. She ain't no Gisele, so she must have that good-good...
  17. Most of us "ordinary" guys aren't too picky. A lot of dudes like the "trashy" ones as well. I've seen guys with bombshell gf's/wives, go waaaay down in class for a piece. Most will take what's offered. Primal instincts baby. Don't act like you'd turn her down if you walked in room, and she had it up in the air for you.
  18. Yep. As long as you don't focus on the face, it's all good.
  19. I'm betting you'd do it without any consideration of Cobb huh? HUH?
  20. My infatuation with big asses, is because they are fuging awesome! Sure, women get bigger when they have a baby. Doesn't mean they can't get back into shape. Also... science! and dirty minds! Both very valid reasons, as to why I think the posted pic is excellent!
